Walking along Ulica Fredry I came across Collegium Maius, one of the most historic and famous buildings in Poznan.
It's located in the Imperial Castle District and dates from around the 15th century ,it's a huge building with it's most distinct feature being the wonderful dome ,such a photogenic building indeed ,if you're walking down Ulica Fredry it's a building to most definitely check out .

Part of the Imperial Castle area. This attractive building was once used by the Prussian colonial administration, but is now part of Adam Mickiewicz University,.

This place dates back to the 15th century! The late queen, jadwiga donated all her personal possessions to this university! The arcaded courtyard is also worth a walk around!

This is another nice looking building I walked past whilst visiting Poznan. Didn't seem to be open on the Saturday morning I was there, but still looked quite nice from the outside.

Didn't seem to be able to enter, so must have chosen a bad time so you will have to rely on the other reviews for a description. It's opossite the garden of the Zamec.

We spent a day there by chance and decided to enter even if the museum was already closed. The visit is still worth it, so if you are in the area, at least enter the courtyard.
