Firstly it's important to know, that it's not only the film museum. Main part of the exhibition are interesting cinematic devices, history, photos. For Poles it is exciting to see past animated stories from childhood. Additionally the exhibition is located in Karol Scheibler Palace. We can find out remaining exclusive interiors. Great place to visit with whole family.

If you're a film historian or buff it's a great museum. Lodz has a rich history in film, great directors and cinematographers came out of the Lodz Film School.

The museum is located in the extraordinary interior. You can see everything what is important in film history connected with our city and it is absolutely "must visit" in Łódź.

This is a great museum. I did not know I would find a gem like this in Lodz. There are interesting and informative exhibits. Lots of unique tools of the trade to see.

Here one can see the equipment and what was behind the scenes in the historical development of film and television.

If you are interested to know how the movies were made, definitely the place to see. Very, vey old nice rooms, remaining from the old palace which was here. I definitely miss more descriptions, better expositions.

The museum shows a complete overview about making mowies through the ages of film history - very nice for children and those who love child mowies cause there is completly shown scenes and puppets.

Having lived in Lodz for many years but never having visited it before, when my parents came I thought it would be a great place to show them. After all, Lodz is the home of cinema in Poland. When we went in, I asked if there was any information in English - even just a leaflet would have been nice.... More

If you are interested in cinema history and willing to make your ways to the outskirts of Lodz this will not disappoint. The museum is built into an old palace and many of the rooms remain as they were. The cinema rooms are scattered around the place with puppets and animation in the attic, film editing in the basement and... More

3 museums in 1 - confusing, dusty, not worth visiting... The only interesting part was architecture of an old adjusting villa.
