Iťs a very nice place in Lodz. Manufactura is a large complex it was a factory. All buildings are made of red bricks granted. This old style is very nice. All buildings are very sensitively repaired including Angeľs hotel which has great atmosphere.

Located in the central part of the city of Łódź, The Manufaktura is an arts centre, shopping mall, and a leisure complex! You can easily spend a rainy day in there, visiting all of the newly established cafes, restaurants and a cinema complex! Very much recommended, especially the Mexican restaurant that is located on Ogrodowa Street, which is part of... More

Really nice place. It is shopping mall, thats one thing. But all those recreation possibilitys, entertainment, cafes, museoums and last but not least this red brick industrial architecture is worrh of visiting. Even when You are not on shopping trip, go there, look around and You will be pleased.

Interesting transformation of industrial buildings into shopping and recreational centre. Summer sees a beach as part of the set up with many beach bars. Fountains are cool and often there are live music events. More special than the average shopping centre.

I had heard about Manufaktura and thought it was merely an enormous shopping mall in an restored and renovated historical site, a former major industrial area in Lodz, Poland. I was surprised and impressed by what I experienced there. The restored and renovated red-brick factories are stunning. The public space and large square are expansive and even include an outside... Lively pedestrian square in an old factory. Rather trendy but in a global commercial way. The architecture is lovely and the complex contains a modern shopping centre and a plaza with bars and restaurants. Coming from the UK it feels like the regeneration schemes you find at dockyards and a lot of the commercial franchises are the same. Having said... More

The buildings are repurposed textile factories, with a large promenade, many restaurants with plenty of outdoor seating. The location also has a large mall with all of the latest shops and stores. Nice place to walk around, and also good on a rainy day, with a lot of shops and restaurants indoors.
