Hard to get a picture by yourself with Julian Tuwim the poet as everyone wants to sit beside him and people watch, touch his nose and he brings you luck supposedly but either way he looks pretty proud watching over his city

Dedicated to Tuwim- Polish poet of Jewish origin, writer, author of vaudevilles, sketches, operetta librettos and song lyrics, one of the most popular poets of the interwar period. He was also known for its creativity for children.

The famous polish poet is an important symbol of Lodz. You can find his statues in different colored also in Manufacture city and blackboard in the Andrzeja Street. This place at the Piotrkowska street shows that this was very important citizen of Lodz and every visitor have to see him, take a picture and sit down with him for same minutes. The older citizen of the city can every time remember his poems.

I will look up his poetry as he is a new name to me. He sits outside 104 Piotrkowska St. Looks like people like rubbing his nose as it is very bright!
