About
What is an escape room? The rule is simple: we lock you up, but not for long. It is only four quarters, during which you have to free yourself from the room prepared by us. Such seemingly trivial task is however not so simple. "Wyjscie Awaryjne" is bristling with surprises, riddles and bizarre objects, each of which is either a right way into your evacuation route or a false alley built by us purposely! Do not be fooled! Will you escape? // You need to have a prior reservation made by our website or telephone.

🐫 IN THE SHADOWS OF THE PYRAMIDS – Wyjście Awaryjne (🇵🇱 Bydgoszcz)
As a group of local archaeologists and scientists, we have been hired by the British government to find out the intentions of the Nazi soldiers who have started intensive archaeological research around the Egyptian city of Tanis. It is believed that they came across something very precious. Our job now is to infiltrate the Germans' camp and uncover the secret in the shadow of the pyramids.
I've played quite a few temple and pyramid escape games, and I have to admit it's not one of my favourite themes, but I really enjoyed In the Shadow of the Pyramids. I was quite impressed by the detailed, high quality setting, already outside the pyramid. In addition, it's a clever plot with suspense and a decision that can affect the end of the game, there are cool transitions and mechanisms, some great effects, and varied, thematic puzzles that fit perfectly into the overall picture.
Even though a nice feature of this adventure was unfortunately out of order - nothing essential, I just would have liked to see it - nevertheless, In the Shadows Of the Pyramids was my personal favorite in Bydgoszcz.
We played as a foursome. I think the experience is even better in twos or threes, because it's a bit tighter in some parts of the game.

It was a great experience. The place is realistic and for a while you can be a real prisoner :-) You have to solve a lot of interesting riddles and remember - the most important thing is cooperation :-)

We were in Bydgoszcz this week and wanted to try out an Escape Room. We had heard about escape rooms before but just never got around to trying one out and so we didn't know what to expect. After asking around, “Legenda Miecza” was the one recommended so we decided to give it a try. First off I was pleased that the instructions were available in both Polish and English. I am from Canada and don't speak Polish so the English instructions was a must. My family went with me and the 3 of us had a fantastic time. We didn’t know what to expect and actually thought it wasn't going to be that difficult. We were pleasantly surprised at how challenging it was and that it required the brain power from the 3 of us. We were stuck a number of times and welcomed the hints we were given from time-to-time. There was a lot of creativity put into this escape room which explains why it was rated high by other people. We were constantly surprised at the imagination put into the riddles you had to solve. I would definitely recommend this escape room and wish we had a few more days in Bydgoszcz so we could do it again. I heard they are planning more rooms so this will give us a reason to come back to Bydgoszcz.
