Very small collection of coins, mostly German ones, in two small rooms. There is a nice historical video, however it is difficult to read descriptions that are written using gothic characters and change very quickly. Likewise, it is not possible to follow the audio information due to low volume. May be worth visiting for real coin lovers.

It's located on Mlynska island. The exhibition includes a collection of banknotes, coins and medals related to the history of Poland from the Piast times to the present day. The exhibition also presents blacksmith tools, crucibles, mint stamps, a chest - treasury, as well as cultural relics found during excavations on the island. The famous one hundred ducats coin from 1621, considered one of the most beautiful on the continent, is presented in 3D technology.

This could be the smallest of many branches of local museum Muzeum Okręgowe. Located in former house for mill workers, so obviously this is a listed building, pretty much like any other building on Wyspa Młyńska (Mill Island). Museum is built around the treasure found in 2018 underneath the floor in nearby cathedral, during a renowation works. So the museum - or European Money Center - presents all those coins recovered in that finding, even if many reviews here still show previous expositions. Not much besides that. Worth a visit for about 10 minutes, especially when you paid for one ticket for all those branch museums, or there's an unpaid visitors day.

The museum is a bit cramped, there is a lot of well documented collections and I`m sure that it would be a treat for someone with a numismatic passion. The employees are very polite even at large events.
