A Lublin Old Town is a really good place for evening walking. It`s not crowded and cozy. A majority of people are young because it`s the student city. I recommend you to view a Lublin Castle then you can rise to a Castle Tower and enjoy a panorama of a Castle Square. If we talk about a cuisine, a traditional dish in Lublin is "cebularz". It`s just the flapjack with an onion and a poppy seed filling but it`s pretty tasty if you like the onion, of course. So you should try it. Moreover, if you like a fastfood, you need to visit Paprica Kebab. You will find a lot of tasty dishes there. If you are a drink lover you need to go to a bar "Pijalnia wodki i piwa". It has available prices on a beer, shots, a cider and other drinks. I wish you a good trip!

The town itself is more interesting than I expect but the access to the old town via train is awful. The train station is located around 20 minutes walk. Unfortunately, even to take the nearest bus to the town a small around 10 minutes walk is required. It's much easier to travel to Lublin by bus. The bus station is located almost in the old town next to the castle. There are many buses that go from the bus station regularly including Sandomierz, Zamosc, Kazimierz Dolny. Sadly the bus station will be moved nearer the train station very soon.

Strolling around Lublin’s old town is a wonderful experience any time of day with lots of restaurants, ice cream shops, bars, and shops to visit. There are also many small hotels on or very near to the old town walking street. At the end is a wonderful, lighted “dancing “ fountain. Not to be missed at night.

. A Polish city with great traditions and a fairly well-preserved old center and Old Town. Frankly speaking, there are many such cities in Europe. I can even say that they are objectively prettier. Lublin, however, has a unique style and a certain kind of energy that surprised me. After years of terrible downfall, he starts to get up from his knees. on the other hand, it has a very well-preserved old town and can attract people who like to travel to peculiar places where not everything is perfect but you can see the life of young people and cultural life.

I stayed in the Lublin Old Town in an apartment for 1 month. But the beauty and vibe does not get old! You can wander, eat ice cream, watch people, listen to street music, enjoy a beer, delicious food. But there is also incredible history to learn about. I have traveled to 40 countries and Lublin is a standout, in large part due to the Old Town.

Excellent old town and the best place to walk around in the different streets and wonder around, stop have a cafe or lunch and chill. As opposed to other cities there is not a big rynek with a square in the middle but this offers just as much as any other.

As you would expect, there are plenty of dining options as you walk around.

Nice old town. A lot to see, buildings on the Square After the entrance to th old town. It is a pity that there are so many restaurants with seating outside. But they also need to have income especially during COVID -19. The ‘Boulevard’ nice to stroll at night for an icescream or beer.

Lublin's magnificent Old Town, restored a few years ago, delights with its charm and history, one of my favorite cities in Poland, which I like to visit both in summer and in winter.

The old town is full of cafes, bars, restaurants, National Polish, Czech, Jewish cuisine.
Old streets, squares, churches acting. The atmosphere is conducive to walks and solitude.

I traveled here for work this September. We stayed in an apartment within five minutes walk of the old city.
The larger part of the city still needs a lot of development however the old city is beautiful. It has a long history, 700 years to be exact. The castle which has a dark history during many wars is worth a visit, and take the trip up the tower for the views.
Do try the local foods, in particular pierogi or dumplings to you and me. They are delish 😋
The prices for eating out are very reasonable, it’s about 20-25 for a big dinner, which is about 4-5 Euro’s.
The local beer is nice and if you go in winter try the hot beers!!!
Great place for a short cheap weekend break. And for history buffs a smaller lesser know concentration camp is only ten minutes by Taxi.
Direct flight only from March to October from Ireland though!!
For the shoppers there’s a huge shopping centre behind the castle on the Main Street, plenty of pubs and shops on the main square too.
The open air museum is worth a shot too. The buses are easy to navigate if you download the local app, and very cheap. You’ll find the people friendly and welcoming to boot!!!!
Enjoy 😊
