Very set in the Middle Ages. For me, the most gothic gate in the city. You enter or leave the old town to the less historic center of Lublin. There you will find all kinds of restaurants and institutions, e.g. court villas. Very aesthetically inscribed in neoclassicism.

A real symbol of the city of Lublin. It was built in early 14th century and took its name from direction on the city of Cracow. Lower gothic section was made of bricks and limestone, the upper section was made of thin bricks. The octagonal baroque tower was built in 16th century. Cracow gate now hosts the museum of Lublin history.

I was really impressed with it and walked under a few times. Looks like the oldest of the towers and likely many years ago the main entry point to the old town

The Cracow Gate -Brama Krakowska was built as a part of a fortification system (the walls surrounding the city) during the reign of King Casimir the Great, following a Tatar attack in 1341. It is an architectural symbol of the city and main entrance to heart of Old Town.

This historic gate is the entrance to the old town of Lublin. It is full of history and monumentality. It is an excellent and must-see place when entering the old town of Lublin. It is also a place in Lublin that is definitely worth visiting. The only drawback is that it was under repair when I visited and I couldn't take a complete picture of it. I hope that the work can be completed as soon as possible and restored to its original appearance.
