So I visited with friends , the rudest , unfriendliest most ignorant race of people you could find anywhere . Tried asking for help when we got lost , people either walked away or said No English and left us there . Overcrowded streets, restaurants , sheer rudeness everywhere and a breathtaking hostility towards foreign visitors . Poles would do well to remember they are themselves living and working in other European countries like UK and Ireland and are made most welcome, unlike visitors to their country . This museum traces the history of Wroclaw from the tenth century forward. Lots of historical items including furniture. Good audio guide and plenty of English.

Visited this museum on our last day in Wrocław and it was very interesting finding out about the history of Poland. Most non-Poles only know of 20th century Polish history...but this museum takes you back to the iron age, bronze age and before. Very fascinating. The military history bit is fascinating too and is understandable why Polish people should be so proud of their heritage...there are some very interesting and heart breaking stories of their constant battles to remain Polish. However, I just have one problem with the museum...one had no idea where to go, it is a huge building complex but no signage...they really need a little booklet or just some signs with arrows pointing the way. We ended up in an art class or something by accident. Also...why can't I wear my coat in the armoury 🤔 The only thing that are not secured are the svalbards and nobody is going to conceal a 14 foot spear under their jackets. Very strange. But...all-in-all a good visit…

This was a great museum and was well worth a visit- it had lots of different things from the history of Wroclaw from 900 to the present day. It was laid out chronologically, but it was not clear which way you should walk around it so I ended up doing things in a weird order.
