I am surprised to see, that not more people have review this museum, because its actually pretty good and interesting, its not huge, but tells a good story. First its a nice and small collection of polish painters and in the second part, there is an extensive time line of the history of Wroclaw / Breslau, which is both nice and pretty interesting in my opinion.

Somewhat out of the way, but easy walking from the Rynek, is this fascinating museum of the history of Lower Silesia; the German people who lived alongside the Poles in this country. The historical exhibits go far back, and show ethnic scenes and tableau from the 1800's, and the migrations of the 18-20th centuries. No English on the placards, but most can be understood anyway. The most interesting exhibit were the treetrunk beehives, of great age.

not big but really interesting museum, it explains the history and the way of living of Polish people in the past centuries.
it is really easy to reach by public transports but also on walking distance from the old town, which is best as it allows you to have a look at the city outside the most touristic routes
