For a very small fee you can climb the stairs to the top and walk on the bridge between the towers. There are a couple of hundred stairs but they are way to walk up and you can stop on some levels on the way up. Some lovely views of the city from the top.
The church itself inside is very impressive and worth a visit, even if you do not go to the top.

The cathedral was fairly plain inside but still worth the visit. If you climb up the tower, which isn't very hard, you get to cross the penitants bridge. It is a thin brdige that could be a bit crowded but there are great views. The little statue on the bridge is so cute as well.

I have a petrifying fear of heights but decided to try and challenge the Penitent bridge. We started with a walk around the church, lighting some candles to remember those we have lost. After this we paid 10 Zloty to climb to the bridge. There are around 300 steps to the top however, around 225 of them are stone steps and are very friendly to the person like me who has a petrifying fear of heights. Several landings provide detailed information about the church and Legend of the bridge - This is in 3 languages. Now at the 225th step the stairs become mesh and you can see straight down as you climb to the door to the Penitent bridge, I had a mild panic attack but managed to control my fear and push myself to the top!.
Oh my god - What a view, honestly so proud I made it and the view was so so worth it, I would seriously recommend a trip here

Great climb to Penitents Bridge! Manageable steps, and affordable value. The view is really pretty, especially on a gorgeous summer day. And don't forget the dwarves!

The bridge does get crowded, so be prepared to wait for a bit before heading out onto it.

This was another wonderful church in Wroclaw. After climbing the steps of both St. Elizabeth and Mary Magdalene, my legs were feeling it the next day! To climb, it cost 4 PLN (about $1.50). The money goes towards the cathedral renovation. We were only able to go up so high as the bridge connecting the towers but it provided really nice views of the city. I'm not sure if once the renovation is done, you will be able to go all the way up either tower. Nice stained glass and the square next to the church is nice for people watching. If you look closely, you may find one of the famous Wroclaw dwarves next to the church!

Very peaceful chapel to pray in, but in need of some much needed TLC. Unfortunately I didn't get to the top as I am disabled but the church is self is pretty but feels a tad neglected.

Built in the Gothic style during the 13th century, it has a nice but unfurnished interior due to it belonging to the Protestant church for most of its history, and holds a 12th century portal belonging to a destroyed abbey. The main thing though is the tower, which I decided to climb after paying the entrance fee of 5zl. At top stands a bridge that connects the two towers which were never fully rebuilt after the war, thus missing their cupolas. The bridge that connects the towers is called the Witche's Bridge, as a legend says that the shadows visible on the bridge are the souls of girls who used to seduce men without wanting to be married, being scared of housekeeping; stories aside, the view from there was really nice, and despite the weather I enjoyed viewing the old town from there for a while.

The bridge connecting the two towers – The Penitents Bridge – is approximately 243 steps to the top all enclosed and wide enough to be easily manageable if you take your time – the more fit and energetic will get to the top in no time. The charge is 5 PLN’s and the views of the city of Wroclaw are breathtaking. The church itself is located adjacent to the Football Fountain square a few steps from the main Market Square
