- Brenda D178 contributionsThe Amazing Christmas marketsIt's worth spending the time walking around here. There are loads of shops and places to eat and drink. I noticed lots of walking tours and everyone was fascinated with the dwarf statues that are scattered all around the city. We went for New Year and the markets stay open till late at night and the market didn't close until New Year's Eve - worth it!Visited December 2019Written January 3, 2020
- RobDublin, Ireland2,955 contributionsBeautiful old cityThis is a beautiful area full of history and spectacular buildings. This also makes it popular with tourists especially in summer when I visited. My biggest suggestion is if you want to avoid the tourist hoards is to visit early in the morning and you should have it to yourself.Visited August 2019Written January 22, 2020
- paulakortusWarsaw, Poland73 contributionsVery charmingVery charming and lots of places to walk and eat. By the time we were here on sunday there was a jarmark - this is like a hand made little show with lots of different staff and on the other part of the old town there was a concert with indian music. really nice :)Visited June 2021Written June 29, 2021
- Tomek Z35 contributionsUnique place in EuropeWroclaw old town is one of the biggest in Europe, but not size makes it special. Unique architecture is preserved with care, distinct style recalls Harry Potter movie (especially when foggy, snowy or rainy). Despite it being destroyed during war, now it thrives with life and positive energy.Visited March 2021Written March 9, 2021

The people and offerings remain all the holiday spirit that I remembered from 2019 and years past. The organizers deserve a lot of credit for this "come back" after 2020.Visited December 2021Traveled as a coupleWritten December 25, 2021

The market square in the middle is one of the biggest market squares in Europe. There are nuisance people shoving roses into your face wanting money for babies etc, but if you ignore that it is a spectacular location.Visited February 2020Traveled as a coupleWritten February 24, 2020
- AlexKyiv, Ukraine6,537 contributionsExcellentCity is really very awesome, and of course its historical part. We we visiting Wroclaw in Christmas and New year period and all city was like from the fairytale. Celebration illumination, Christmas fair, interesting and the same time wonderful architecture, narrow streets, buildings of different colors, everything here is very cozy and homely. Highly recommend for visiting.Visited January 2020Traveled with friendsWritten January 1, 2020
- Jana CPrague, Czech Republic4,659 contributionsBeautiful townI knew Wroclaw would be pretty, just didn't expect it to be this pretty. The Old Town is amazing, we only had two days there and it was freezing cold so didn't see as much as we could like to. But we will be back to see more when it's warmer. The dwarves are excellent fun to look for and the buildings are amazing.Visited December 2021Written January 1, 2022
- EvaF2EvaWeissenburg in Bayern, Germany4,840 contributionsBeautiful town with a spiritI first time visited Wroclaw several years ago and it remaind in my memoris ugly and grey ciy. I was surprised how much it developed and got much more beautiful. Especially old town with well maintained colorfull buildings and nice churches is amazing. It is not fair to compare it with Cracow because it has completelly different history. You can feel its German times in the air although nowadays spirit is clearly Polish with their typical friendliness and hospitality. This place is definitely very well worth a visit.Visited December 2019Written January 25, 2020

Went of the beaten track from Krakow and visited Wrowclaw’s Christmas market.
Beautiful atmosphere and lovely to follow the market around the main square.
Make mine a Raspberry mulled wine and Nutella Bubble waffle.
