We spent two mights at the Wyndham and would recommend staying locally allowing the chance to wander around this lovely city. Discover dwaves at your leisure and check out the viewpoint bridge if you can climb the 248 steps at Mary Magdalene Cathedral. Visit Cathderal Island at night to experience the atmosphere and sights. The 15 min tram and bus ticket costs only 74 cents or 3.2 zloty

Wroclaw old town is one of the biggest in Europe, but not size makes it special. Unique architecture is preserved with care, distinct style recalls Harry Potter movie (especially when foggy, snowy or rainy). Despite it being destroyed during war, now it thrives with life and positive energy.

Cannot imagine a Christmas without a visit to Market Square. The people and offerings remain all the holiday spirit that I remembered from 2019 and years past. The organizers deserve a lot of credit for this "come back" after 2020.

The market square in Wroclaw is much larger than we expected, and the architectural details on the buildings is amazing. There are a lot of restaurants and bars lining the square, as well as shopping opportunities. The area is very walkable.

Little Venice because the city was born on multiple islands connected by iron bridges, wood, new and ancient ..
Wroclaw was a pleasant discovery, turnable quietly on foot in a couple of hours.
Characteristic , with a beautiful old town from an architectural point of view and full of places where you can taste traditional Polish dishes . Recommendation: have fun looking for the cute little dwarfs that have become the symbol of the city, what are iron statues no taller than 39/40 cm of gnomes engaged in the most disparate activities ..

Lovely old city buildings. Beautifully maintained and picturesque. The market square in the middle is one of the biggest market squares in Europe.
There are nuisance people shoving roses into your face wanting money for babies etc, but if you ignore that it is a spectacular location.

City is really very awesome, and of course its historical part. We we visiting Wroclaw in Christmas and New year period and all city was like from the fairytale. Celebration illumination, Christmas fair, interesting and the same time wonderful architecture, narrow streets, buildings of different colors, everything here is very cozy and homely. Highly recommend for visiting.

I knew Wroclaw would be pretty, just didn't expect it to be this pretty. The Old Town is amazing, we only had two days there and it was freezing cold so didn't see as much as we could like to. But we will be back to see more when it's warmer. The dwarves are excellent fun to look for and the buildings are amazing.

Wrocław’s Old Town was a real surprise to me, in the sense that its beauty far exceeded what my expectations might have been. There are many areas of the center that leave you speechless for the beauty of the buildings and architecture, the culmination is reached in the market square and on the cathedral island. The centre of Wrocław is not only pleasant, but also very liveable and animated, full of many nice places. Among the things to see are several churches and museums, but also the cute gnomes that appear in the most unthinkable places. A very beautiful city indeed.

I first time visited Wroclaw several years ago and it remaind in my memoris ugly and grey ciy. I was surprised how much it developed and got much more beautiful. Especially old town with well maintained colorfull buildings and nice churches is amazing. It is not fair to compare it with Cracow because it has completelly different history. You can feel its German times in the air although nowadays spirit is clearly Polish with their typical friendliness and hospitality. This place is definitely very well worth a visit.
