At the time it was built, this was the first brick building in Wroclaw. In the mean time it was rebuild 4 times. In the cathedral you can find the biggest organ in Poland and till WWII it was the biggest organ in the world.
Stopped of on a guided tour. Amazing history, it was bombed during ww2 and there is still a defused shell in the brick work of one of the towers. Inside looks amazing as well. Definitely worth visiting
The main cathedral on Cathedral Island and the starting point for the lighting of the gas lanterns.
Check out the pictures from WWII on the front left hand side of it. They did an impressive job rebuilding it afterwards.
