Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and the town hall are the most impressive buildings in Wroclaw. If the tower is open in the Cathedral you must go up to see the view. Best view in the town. The Cathedral is lovely and the setting...More

Even if you're not a big fan of gothic cathedrals, altairs, stained glass windows etc. get the lift to the top of the tower and see the city! Pretty breathtaking!

At the time it was built, this was the first brick building in Wroclaw. In the mean time it was rebuild 4 times. In the cathedral you can find the biggest organ in Poland and till WWII it was the biggest organ in the world.

Stopped of on a guided tour. Amazing history, it was bombed during ww2 and there is still a defused shell in the brick work of one of the towers. Inside looks amazing as well. Definitely worth visiting

The main cathedral on Cathedral Island and the starting point for the lighting of the gas lanterns. Check out the pictures from WWII on the front left hand side of it. They did an impressive job rebuilding it afterwards.

This Cathedral of St. John the Baptist was completely destroyed in WW 2. Later the church was rebuild so that we still can enjoy the building today.

Cathedral of St. John the Baptist is just on the edge of the city centre. You can go up to the top of the tower which excellent views of the town and surrounding area.
