An amazing sight, we visited at night since it was too hot during the day to walk around town (August).

Central attraction of Ostrov Tumski, it is a great nice cathedral. A lot of things to see and experience there. The church itself is really great. Loved it.

There are so many beautiful old Churches/Cathedrals in Wroclaw, that you spend days to visit them all. This one was one of the most magnificent, especially from inside. Beautiful location on an island. Lots of other major attractions nearby too, so don't miss this part of Town.

There are more churches and cathedrals in Wroclaw than any sane person would want to see in one day. To my mind, this is the best interior. The outside I found aethestically a bit of mess, but the inside has a large array of interesting artworks, monuments and stain glass. It is a bit of a walk from the center,... More

What a great cathedral. It is beautifully situated on one of the many islands in Wroclaw (Breslau) and a must see.

It was 2.30pm when we arrived here for a short visit as part of our city sightseeing tour in Wroclaw. Among all the churches we had visited in Poland (and also those in other countries/cities), this church was one of the most impressive and beautiful. The cathedral was built in 1272 and is about 98m tall. The interior of the... More

At least, the exterior is. Given its location on Church Island, the atmosphere is conducive to viewing and walking around slowly, enjoying the architecture and the organization of this site. You can hike the steeple for a good city view.

This is of course, like every cathedral, a building that contains centuries of history of the city and of the region. You absolutely must buy the extra ticket to see the chapels, as they are truly magnificent, with high quality Carrara marble work and ceilings painted by Italian artists. Also, the view from the cathedral tower is one of the... More

This is a must visit! The entrance fee is low and you don't even need to walk all the way up. There is an elevator but before that you have to climb some very narrow stairs, I don't think they have an entrance for baby strollers or wheelchairs. Great place to see the whole city!
