Considering this cathedral was badly damaged during the war, the restoration is excellent and definitely worth a visit.

We just had time for a short visit but there seemed to be lots of things to study. The amount of work that must have gone into restoring all the old churches after WWII is enormous.

A bit crowded, but realy nice, as Christians we stayed for a little while and quiet prayer. A lot of tourists, I wish we were there for service

There are plenty of churches throughout Wroclaw, but this one is truly exceptional. It's like a beacon on top of a small incline. And one can sit inside and go into deep thought. The interior is truly fantastic. A must see

Gothic cathedral dating back to 14th century (but restored after some damages during the centuries and with some influence of the later styles) is the central point of Ostrów Tumski. Interesting interiors with choir stalls being being particularly impressive. For PLN 5 a lift will take you up to one of towers for fantastic views of Wrocław. Highly recommended.

An amazing sight, we visited at night since it was too hot during the day to walk around town (August).

Central attraction of Ostrov Tumski, it is a great nice cathedral. A lot of things to see and experience there. The church itself is really great. Loved it.

There are so many beautiful old Churches/Cathedrals in Wroclaw, that you spend days to visit them all. This one was one of the most magnificent, especially from inside. Beautiful location on an island. Lots of other major attractions nearby too, so don't miss this part of Town.

There are more churches and cathedrals in Wroclaw than any sane person would want to see in one day. To my mind, this is the best interior. The outside I found aethestically a bit of mess, but the inside has a large array of interesting artworks, monuments and stain glass. It is a bit of a walk from the center,... More
