We attended Mass on Sunday and I found the interior quite striking. The large stained glass windows behind the altar and the alcove chapels together make up for an impression as one may expect from a cathedral, even if it is not a large one. Candles can be lighted for loved ones, however all were sold out when we visited.

Interesting cathedral, great view to a city from the 60m high tower. Great collection of African masks inside.

this area is beautiful in the night time. they still light the street lamps every night by hand. its a short walk out the old town to get her but its quite and you can take some amazing photos of the river too.

Paying for the tickets to the chapels on the back seemed unnecessary at first thought, but after visiting them I must say it was a highlight of my visit to Wroclaw.

Lovely cathedral nestled amongst a very architecturally attractive area. Well worth a visit even if you're not religious to appreciate its intricate interior and exterior. Beautiful features from every angle, well, except the few bits by the main entrance that had the scaffolding on it. You can enter for free as long as you promise God you will be quiet... More

The cathedral is a unique on as it was rebuild after nearly complete destruction during the war. As you look closer at it, there are different layers of rebuild materials.

You don't need to buy a ticket to enter the Cathedral of Wroclaw. It's surely worth a visit. A ticket is only necessary to see the Baroque chapels (which I haven't seen) and to go - by elevator . to the top of the tower. From there you have a wonderful view of the Island and of the whole city.
