Beautiful Bridge
Aug 2020
Lovely little bridge and very picturesque. It's very small but overlooks the river and other island in Wroclaw. It connects to city center so be aware, it's very busy especially with all the trams around you.

Nice point of interest
Mar 2020
The surrounding buildings and churches are worth visiting making this a nice connection point between these
The locks in the pictures have been removed due to the weight these were bearing on the bridge clearing up the view as well

Access problematic
Jan 2020 • Couples
We were headed up to Cathedral Island and found our way was blocked. Fortunately there is another bridge that allows access on to the island but little was provided by way of signposting to let you know in advance. We did see lots of padlocks on a stretch leading up to the bridge but believe the bridge itself has more, according to other reviews. The fact that one access route was closed did not spoil the sight of the island and the time we had exploring one of the most atmospheric parts of Wroclaw.

Under renovation
Sep 2019
When we walked along the river walk, we found that this bridge was blocked for some renovation. Lots of wood covered the unique structure. It did not take away too much from the lovely river side walk around the church however. Even though this has been the Love-Locks bridge, there are locks in the surrounding metal fences around the river and elsewhere if that was your intention. We used the other bridge by the front of the NMP Catholic church to reach the rest of Cathedral Island.

Just a bridge - and it was closed
Nov 2019
It is just another bridge between the islands - and it was blocked and under refurbishment when we visit so couldn’t even cross. Other bridges in the area serve the same purpose and link the same points without the hassle of coming here. Locks on nearby railings a nice touch but seen this in loads of other places where the bridge is open

Bridge with thousands of locks
Apr 2019
Bridge across Odra. People come here with a locks to leave it on the bridge. Some are with a message some are with a love notes , some with just an initials. Bridge is going to Ostrow Tumski, very old monastery and Cathedral.
Nice walk with excellent views of Wroclaw.

Historical bridge
May 2019 • Couples
One of the bridges that links Tumski Island to the city of Wroclaw is the famous Tumski bridge which was lined with padlocks and backdropped by the cathedral behind. It is not as photogenic as other bridges but a nice historical site nonetheless.

Once an important border
Jul 2019 • Solo
Dombrücke (Cathedral bridge) was once an important border as the island to which it provided access to, was property of the Roman Catholic church since 1315 and formed an ecclesiastical state, a bit like the Vatican nowadays. From here on, men were not allowed to cover their heads, not even if they were royalty. For ages the bridge also marked the division between majority Protestant Breslau and the small Catholic minority.

Nice and small bridge in the heart of Wrocław
Jun 2019
In Polish "Most Tumski", nice and small steel bridge built in 1889. It is also called the "Lovers Bridge" as it is full of padlocks left by people in love. The bridge leads to the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and the whole view with its atmosphere will bring you back in time.

Love bridge
May 2019 • Family
Nice old pedestrian steel bridge over the Oder river. The bridge leads to Ostrov Tumski (Cathedral island) where you can experience numerous splendid churches and other old buildings. The bridge is covered in padlocks and the legend says that if you attach your lovelock and then throw the key into the Odra river your love will last forever.
