Speedway meeting Tarnow v Wroclaw, great racing and atmosphere, facilities were first class and food/drink outlets were plentiful I had a banner of my team (Coventry Bees), hanging over the fence, security had a look and allowed it to remain, after 12 heats I was...More

I have visited the Olympic Stadium in Wroclaw on 2 occasions - both before and after it's refurbishment. I'm a Speedway supporter, and I have to say this is now a fantastic venue. Well laid out, every amenity you could wish for and it all...More

Nice stadium is in total disrepair , rotting benches, plaster falling off the walls. Nice playgrouds around thought, potential to be worth visiting if renovated.

Speedway is a big thing in Poland, and Polish clubs are top class. So is the atmosphere. On occasion they host the world cup here, but the national league games are also worth seeing: www.wts.pl The stadium has an interesting historical and architectual background being...More

Olympic stadium (8 Replies)
Spending 2 nights in London from 21st July for our anniversary, my DH has suggested a visit to the Olympic stadium (NOT exactly one of the places I was thinking about, don't imagine any cocktail bars or nice shops there!) Bearing in mind the date being so close to the opening how close would we be able to get to it? Imagine they have been doing tours but assuming not that close to date.

Hi all, iam just wondering is the olympic stadium worth a visit, i am a big sports fan and is there much to do in around the ground. What would the best way of getting out to the stadium, my nearest underground would be Spittelmarkt. Thanks very much for the help.

You should definitely visit the Magic Fountains of Montjuic at night. Everybody I know who has ever visited Barcelona loves them and they're quite romantic, so might be a nice place to take your girlfriend after a meal or just a nice place to take your own drinks and snack and spend the night.
