Maciej was an excellent guide, driver, and advisor during our three day trip from Krakow to Szczecin as we discovered the small villages of my ancestors who emigrated to America in the 19th century. He also set up a meeting at one of the churches with some local parishioners so that I could see inside and look at historical photos of the area at the time they lived there. He was thoughtful about suggesting places of interest we hadn’t considered visiting, and picking places for lunch that offered local specialties. He is extremely knowledgeable about history and speaks English perfectly, and we enjoyed discussing current events and culture. He even took an interest in our future adventures after we left Poland to advise on places to see at our next stop, Berlin. Entirely trustworthy and a very pleasant person with whom to spend a few days, punctual and flexible as well. Highly recommended!

Overall this was a great experience as Adam my guide is a very knowledgeable young man that shares every details with me passionately. The communication with Maciek was friendly clear and efficient, hence made all arrangements seamless and pleasant. Worth visiting locations.

Booked 2 different tours on 2 days. First day we requested to have a communism tour in Wroclaw. They organized a private tour for me and my friend with guide Damian. Picked us up on the agreed time with a comfortable Jeep. Damian is an absolutely amazing guide that drove us around the city and pointed out a lot of interesting things around the city. A short tour in the post modern museum of Wroclaw and finished the tour walking in the city center. The tour was for 3.5 but with Damian you can keep going for days. His knowledge about everything in the city is impressive.

Second tour was to Auschwitz with Adam. Again perfectly on time for the pickup in a comfortable Mercedes. Driving to Auschwitz is already a tour on its own. Adam can talk for hours about literally everything in Wroclaw and Poland. His knowledge is amazing. Everything was possible, completely focused on your own comfort. Whenever you want to stop he stops, explains everything clearly in English. Also everything in Auschwitz was absolutely perfectly organized.

Highly recommend this company for any tour. Absolute professionals.

I booked this tour for myself and my daughter (she's 20 years old) after reading the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. Maciej's communication from the start was brilliant in organising the trip. We were picked up from our hotel and the drive took around 2.5 hours. There was another guy on the trip too so we had some great conversation in the car on the way there and back learning about life in each others countries. For an avid traveller (and chatterbox) like me, this was great! The whole way there Maciej also pointed out various points of interests and places and explained the history behind them. He is certainly very knowledgeable about his country.
On arrival at Auschwitz, we had a quick bite to eat before Maciej took us to meet our guide for the tour (Auschwitz only allow their own guides to do the tours). He stayed with us until we set off and arranged where to meet him afterwards. After around 1.45 hours in Auschwitz, we met up with Maciej for the short drive up to Birkenau. There we met with our guide again and did a tour round Birkenau lasting around 1 hour.
On the way back we were given the choice to stop on the way to eat or to go straight back to Wroclaw. We chose to go back to Wroclaw as we wanted to eat a bit later. Maciej recommended a nice restaurant for us and even dropped us off at the door. We left at around 8am and were back in Wroclaw for 6pm.
Overall this was a great trip. Well organised and worth going.

Would highly recommend this firm if you are staying in Wroclaw. It's especially good if you like hassle-free travel - my friends and I went to the Tourist Information Centre to enquire about a trip to Auschwitz and everything was quickly organised for us. The guide, Matthew, picked us up from our hotel and his van was comfortable, air conditioned etc. He was interesting, insightful and informative - we really couldn't have asked for a better guide. He even provided snacks! Even better, he took us to Krakow for a few hours for NO EXTRA COST and he was really helpful in recommending sights, activities, restaurants etc. The day trip was a definite highlight of the holiday and I would urge anyone visiting Wroclaw to take advantage of this great service!

WROCLAW surpassed our expectations. First time in Poland and won't be our last. The old town is full of beautiful buildings cafes and bars. The electric car tour is a perfect way of seeing lots if only there for short visit.

We used Viadrina tours for two consecutive day trips during our time in Wroclaw. I contacted them initially through Facebook messenger to check that excursions would be running during the last week of October and they were very helpful. The website is very comprehensive too with lots of information about what to expect. Our bookings were made through Facebook messenger also.
Our guide, Adam, picked us up from outside our apartment and was there promptly each day. The car was comfortable and we were lucky to have private tours on both days. Adam was very knowledgable and took time to answer questions. He didn’t rush us at any point. On our first day we visited Ksiaz Castle and the Swidnica Peace Church. On our second day we went to Gross Rosen Camp and Project Riese. Each day was approximately 9-5 with quite a bit of driving involved but plenty of time at each attraction. Payment was at the end of the day in euros or zloty. Would highly recommend both tours and would definitely use this company again.

We have just arrived back from our second trip with Viadrina Tours. We participated in both the Auschwitz-Birkenau and Prague day trips. Both Maciej and Adam were exceptional to deal with. They provided an excellent service and furnished us with great information during the trips. Snacks and drinks were made available and this was a lovely touch. We cannot recommend Viadrina Tours enough and cannot fault them in any way. Thank you so much for making our trip to Poland so memorable.

We took the Auschwitz tour with Maciek. The service was brilliant with Maciek being extremely friendly and accommodating - getting us there safely and telling us some of the local and wider history on the way. Would definitely rebook with Maciek again in future for other tours. Thanks again, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the company.
