We have been to this Zoo a number of times over the years and what a transformation it has undergone over the years. There has been some mega investment here since we last went we did not recognise it. This is I am sure one of the premier Zoo's in Europe. We went in the summer holidays, it was busy but you could still most of the time social distance. This is a whole day experience so do not under allocate any time to see it, to get the most out of it. We will if we visit Wroclaw again, be back. …

Well worth the £11 per person as the place took us nearly 4 hours to get around. There were a couple of unkempt corners like the aviary which showed its 150 years but then the underwater aquarium tunnel showed what quality the zoo had too.

Both indoor and outdoor areas make this zoo a good choice to visit. We spent around 4 hours there and enjoyed tortoise feeding time and saw penguins playing in the pool. There are underground viewing areas to see fish and seals. Hippos really stink.
