III Reich and WW2 in Wroclaw - every day tour

2 reviews
Wroclaw is an unique, beautifull place with the amazing history. Since 2007 when I started to guide I noticed that people love to listen to my WW2 stories. On this tour you will see all highlights of Old Town but stories the guide will share with you will be related to Nazi era and siege time. The siege of Wroclaw was a very dramatic and special time. This city gave up 4 days after Berlin did so its story is really fascinating. Join my tour!

We have been to this Zoo a number of times over the years and what a transformation it has undergone over the years. There has been some mega investment here since we last went we did not recognise it. This is I am sure one of the premier Zoo's in Europe. We went in the summer holidays, it was busy but you could still most of the time social distance. This is a whole day experience so do not under allocate any time to see it, to get the most out of it. We will if we visit Wroclaw again, be back.

Well worth the £11 per person as the place took us nearly 4 hours to get around. There were a couple of unkempt corners like the aviary which showed its 150 years but then the underwater aquarium tunnel showed what quality the zoo had too.

The ZOO exists since July 10, 1865. It is a pity that not all the runs were open to visitors, but there were plenty of unique animals to watch. I highly recommend visiting Africarium. Beautifully made spectacular aquariums with unusual fish, rays, seals and a large turtle Stefan are undoubtedly a huge attraction. You must see it when you are in Wroclaw.

Both indoor and outdoor areas make this zoo a good choice to visit. We spent around 4 hours there and enjoyed tortoise feeding time and saw penguins playing in the pool. There are underground viewing areas to see fish and seals. Hippos really stink.
