Spent a few hours here. Lots of animals and marine life to see.All have plenty of space. Crocs, hippos, tigers, lions, brown bears and many more places to eat and drink and a playground for the children
Zoo itself is really nice with lots of animals which are quite close to you. Most probably best in the zoo is Afrikanium with jubgle and huge ocean acquarium. Really recomend to visit.
P.S. Take quite time to walk through whole zoo
This is a must for anyone visiting Wroclaw! The zoo is fantastic. It’s easy to get to with public transport. There are tons and tons of animals to see, lots of places to stop and get refreshment around the zoo. I won’t say much in...More
My husband and I recently pent a weekend in Wroclaw. One of our outings was to the local zoo. We were really impressed, there was so much to see that it took us about 5 hours to see all the animals! It cost 100 zloty...More
Thought this was going to be one of those small depressing Zoo's with poor standards you sometimes get abroad, but i was very wrong.
It's on the same level as Chester Zoo, and possibly even better as it's Afrykarium is also like having the Blue...More
The zoo was great. Parts were empty and a bit run down but only in small areas. Overall I had a great time. The aquarium and aferician areas were fantastic and lions and tigers and bears and monkeys all good. You really need a good...More
I was there for the second time. First time in winter, so I spent most of time in Afrykarium (but I had fantastic time). It is a perfect place for a long walk during sunny day. The area is huge, so one can spend there...More

I drove there, from the centre, in about 15 minutes - it was an easy enough drive on main roads - so either a taxi or one of several buses or a tram (assuming you don't have your own car as we did!) will get you there easily... More
I drove there, from the centre, in about 15 minutes - it was an easy enough drive on main roads - so either a taxi or one of several buses or a tram (assuming you don't have your own car as we did!) will get you there easily and cheaply enough - the car park was cheap by zoo standards for anyone driving there too.
I wouldn't recommend walking unless you are into marathons as the zoo itself is a full day activity on your feet!

Wroclaw zoo was the biggest in Europe for a long time (and also long time ago)..
recently they improved manyfacilieties for the tourist as for the animals which I do believe do the work for both as well!
