For the adults, it's a little tough to see your childhood is now museum quality material. That said, it's a great way to spend a morning or afternoon with a little fun and a trip down memory lane with your kids. For the kids, they'll find games that make them smile and enjoy some of their own (more recent) memories. Very affordable and fun. Kudos to the owners for their impressive, and working collection. Pay attention to the directions they give in the on-line tickets. Google maps had a hard time finding the name until we entered the Polish translation. The map directions drop you in the middle of the large building, but the museum is located on the far right (when you're facing the building from Robotnotnicza street).

If you're a tech geek, with a special thing for retro video games - it's THE place to go in Wrocław. You'll find a wide selection of games and platforms to play them on - ranging from early Tennis for Two (a.k.a. Pong) to relatively recent 1990s DOS-based Jazz Jackrabbit. And a LOT of others of course, as well as some more static exhibits (which are still worth it).
I had a great time there and I would gladly recommend it to anyone who has ever played a video game (even if they don't anymore).

It was such a flashback to childhood memories and a good lesson in how computers and games developed since beginning. The greatest part was that you got to experience games hands on. A perfect place for friend groups, couples, families with kids and of course computer geeks.

Part museum, part nostalgia arcade for young and old. This was a good way of killing some time and also a bit of a blast from the past where you can play some of the older games and revisit some that may have been missed. Great for kids if you have them.

We visited this museum with a group of six people ranging from 11-71, and we all had fun! This is in the same building as a reptile attraction and a model train museum, so really you could be here most of the day. The Games Museum had many videos games set up and we all just went from game to game, trying out some new games and hitting some classics. They have displays of old home computers, and really a great selection of them! It's a nice walk down memory lane for those over 30 or 40. They also had a selection of old magazines and books about the older computers. The analog games were really fun too, my niece and I enjoyed a tabletop basketball set for quite a while.

Visited this museum following its review on TripAdvisor. Definitely worth a visit. A little bit out of the way and there was an obscure market outside on the day we visited, bit like a car boot sale!
The place itself is fun and the staff are friendly and keen to show you how to operate the machines. Asteroids, Donkey Kong, Mortal Combat, Pacman, the list goes on...

If you played some games when you were young, you need to come to this place...
It took me back in time to my childhood.
So nostalgic, and games and consoles are taken care of.

We visited this museum on a wet day in Wroclaw.
We aimed to just drop in and have a look - we had to drag ourselves away after 2 1/2 hours!
What a great place to remember my childhood.
Lots of old games to be played on old consoles - my favourites were Sonic the Hedgehog on the sega mega drive and Mario Kart.
And it was great to see all the old computer hardware - remembering when I used to have to load a tape cassette to play games!!
A great way to spend a few hours if the weather is bad in Wroclaw.
It is a bit out of the way but definitely worth a visit!
