I was really amazed how tasty water they have. You can feel the difference. Moreover place is very charming. You need to go there.

We where staying near by and got a cab into this town for £3. The place attracts many people based on its healthy life style. People come here to drink the health water and do other activities. To try the diff kinds of water was only a few pennies. They give you a cup with a straw and you drink away. There is 3 diff tasting water to drink. Only down point is there is no information on each one or on the background of the place in English. You may not even work out you can go if your not with someone polish. Water tastes ok :) x nice photo opportunity x

Szczawno Zdroj (Szczawno Springs) is a small spa town in Lower Silesia (Southern Poland) next to Walbrzych.
Early XII. century's hamlet has been hooked up to Ksiaz princedom at the end of century.
Spa nature of Szczawno was ever known owing to wild animals behaviour (willingly drinking carefully chosen diverse mineral waters' springs) and people's well-being in the area.
Mineral waters repertory has been first examined and featured in 1598 by prince's manorial doctor - Caspar Schwenckfeldt.
Nowadays Szczawno is a bit lapsed town but has enough attractions to invite people apart of its spa and health advantages.
First Mineral Waters Pump House was built here at the beginning of XIX century. It was large hall with central mineral water well fenced with wooden rail. Water was spooned with long pole fitted with glass jar attached to its end.
Today's Pump House is a two-storeyed nice building with wooden upper part and interior. Building is combined with fancy wooden pedestrians arcade passage.
Mineral and medicinals waters supplied in Pump House (Mlynarz, Marta, Mieszko and Dabrowka) mainly succor cure of urinary and digestive systems.
Upper floor is a reading- and rest-room.
In 1992 Pump House was miserably burnt by incidental fire but has been solicitously reconstructed later and now delights eyes of its visitors.
