Very interesting place for toddlers keen on dinosaurs and stones. Only disadvantage is lack of elevator. Shop with souvenirs is rich. With for seeing. Close to the museum is nice Italian restaurant Bossa Nova.

A museum about minerals might not be at the top of everyone's list of sights to see but on a rainy day this might be the only thing to do in this area that doesn't involve eating or getting wet. When our trip up the mountain was rained off we took refuge in this small gem of a museum. Even though all the explanations of the exhibits are in Polish it is still a fascinating collection. There are some amazing fossils, a lot of dinosaur remains and reconstructed skeletons as well as case upon case of exotic looking stones and crystals. There is even a small cinema with a film about dinosaurs. It doesn't take very long to go around, isn*t too expensive to get in and has a great gift shop with lots of stones and mineral related items to take home.

I visited this old museum with my teenage son on a weekday morning and we had a good time. It helps that my son is interested in stones and minerals, there is an awesome amount of that to be seen. Also dinosaur fossils, skeletons, eggs and the like. This historic place features a cozy interior with old wooden rooms, small hallways, unexpected nooks and crannies, plus a very reasonably priced gift shop with lots of stones, jewellery and trinkets to choose from. We were very satisfied. Small note: visit early and on a weekday, later in the day and on weekends in season large groups of (school)children can fill up the house, one may also encounter parents dragging bored and whining kids.

This place is a real find, well worth a visit for an hour or so, I had no previous interest in minerals but was impressed by the large and interesting collection, an education. There are also well-preserved dinosaur fossils, trilobites and more. Don't be put off by the formal sounding title, there is something here for everyone both adults and children alike.

I have no particular interest in Minerals so I was just looking at a lot of colorful stones. Nice for a short visit, but nothing special.

This has an interesting set of rocks and crystals. They do have some fossils and it can be interesting going through this. The most interesting we found was the shop :) as they had a lot of different items available.

I do recommend heading here once if you are in Szklarska Poręba
