A very nicely located waterfall, one of the nicest places in the Sudetes. A huge disadvantage is the people, not only tourists, who are here. It's dense, it's crowded and people, wanting to get better photos and views, go into very dangerous places just to post a selfie on Instagram.
I recommend it, but during the period when there are fewer people here - i.e. out of season, possibly in the morning or late afternoon.

Wheelchair accessible. Outstanding view. Safe for little children. There is place to buy food and souvenirs. Every weather is good for visiting this beautiful area. There is a big parking and walking distance to the waterfall from parking takes about 10 minutes.

There are 2 ways to get to this waterfall and both are for a fee (8zl). If you want an easier access, take the one with the entrance hidden from souvenirs shops, which is in the main road. Though looking for a parking can be tough.

Very nice smaller waterfall, the hike to the waterfall is very easy.
No problem to pay 8 zl! There is one problem. There is not enough parking places

Seriously, I'm not sure what people expect from this waterfall. Entrance is 6PLN for adults. 5 minutes walk and you there - waterfall is just a waterfall but smell of urine around is horrible. Cheap and crap gifts are offered by local sellers. Seriously, just go to the mountains and don't waste your time. One more thing - finding a parking space will take you more time than whole walk to and from the waterfall :)

There are two ways of getting there. One is for free, trough the forest- not suitable for disabled and people with push prams. The other way is very convenient, from the car park, but you need to buy a ticket for 6 PLZ paid by cash. But the place is worth any money, plus the money is towards conserving the National Park.

Wodospad Szklarki is the second highest - after Wodospad Kamieńczyka - waterfall in Polish Karkonosze. Szklarka itself is rather short, not even 7 km long stream, that shortly after folling down into Kamienna river valley (that's how Szklarki Waterfall has been created) ends up joining forces and waters with mentioned Kamienna river. Very popular spot with tourists - in peak times queues for toll booth can reach half an hour, or even longer. And yes, as it is a part of Karkonosze National Park, the entry is paid. Toll booth are located on blue/black trail, which leads to the waterfall (about 10-15 minutes), and the access to that entry is cleverly hidden between souvenir huts on always super busy car park on the main DK3 road, just before Szklarska Poręba (when coming from the north) - formally Szklarki Waterfall is not in Szklarska Poręba, it's within town of Piechowice boundaries. This path is also wheelchair accessible. There's another entry, from area over the waterfall, on the other end of blue/black trails, and it is legal and free of charge, but takes a bit more effort, as the walk is much longer, but hose hikers, who go for this option, they got a chance to enjoy much longer stretch of Szklarka, which is very picturesque on much of its length. Some people in their reviews here suggest different ways of skipping the toll booth - those are illegal, and as it is a national park, you only allowed to use marked trail, and we've seen park guards fining those, who thought they are too clever to pay. And after all of that - the waterfall itself is lovely, Kochanówka mountain hut located just in front of it serves food and drinks. Only those large crowds... so go there early in the morning, or after 4 pm, and you will have that waterfall mainly for yourself.

We made this short trip in the late afternoon when we had some time left in Szklarska Poreba. This was better because of less tourists that we met on the way there. Therefore we could enjoy more silence and the nature including the waterfall itself.

This short waterfall walk is located on the main road from Jelenia Gora. There is a small car park and souvenir stalls. There is a short walk along a well maintained paved path to the falls. It was a small but prominent fall and capped off a pleasant walk. It had a vase shape funnelling in from two inlets. The view at the top was nice but thankfully not too much more effort. A nice diversion but you do have to pay for the privilege of a maintained path.
