About
This is an old and small glasswork place located at the outskirts of Szklarska Poręba, on the way to waterfall Szklarka, which uses the local minerals. In the mill, in front of the audience, the workers create colored glass: vases, dishes and other forms. The most fascinating was to watch the worker to create some glass animals: cat, snail, dog etc.: in one minute the animal emerged from the shapeless piece of glass. In the shop there you can buy glass made in the place for very good price. Kids love the place a lot; it was also very interesting for us to observe the process of glass making.

This is very interesting place. Family oriented. They have a program for children, when kids can make Christmas ornaments, and get familiar with glassware preparation.
The guide is very friendly and full of knowledge; ready to answer any question. It is off main track, however there is free parking (something unusual in Szklarska Poreba and in Karpacz), and nearby restaurant. I recommend it for every family.

Dobre miejsce żeby zobaczyć jak wytwarzane jest szkło i kupić pamiatkę z pobytu, ktora nie przyjechała z chin. Wstęp nie jest drogi. Dzieciom się podobało.
Good place to see how glass is made also to buy a souvenir that wasn't made in china. The entry tickets are not expensive. Children liked it.

This little, family glass factory, situated in very beautiful place, is fantastic idea for everyone. Very nice mans are showing and explaining how they are making little wonders with glass. They are making it using old equipment and the strength of their own hands. Little shop have many things to buy after this great visit. I spend there about 2 hours, but its easy to forget about life for whole day.

Family run glass production facility. Modern kiln, old fashioned equipment. Fascinating to see globs of glass being quickly turned into pieces of artisanal craftmanship. Big output, big collection of glass trinkets next door, quite affordable. Very satisfying visit.
