It has a great view from the top. It feels a bit like a carnival at the top with children's rides and food concessions. Some people walk to the top but it is a bit steep and only the very fit should try it. It isn't a long ride up in the funicular, but fun nonetheless.

We visited in the afternoon coming back from a trip in the area so got there by car, and didn't use the funicular. The views of the city and mountains are very nice. The overall atmosphere is very similar to Zakopane market with many stands selling whatever and many food stands. There are also a few attractions such as zip... More

My oldest loves trains so the train up was fantastic for him. The views on the top are beautiful especially on a clear day like we had. The toboggan ride was a bit to craic too even for my wee boys. Can be quite busy and far the views and few shops not much else to do!

Quick and easy to get to top of the mountain on the train though a bit of a battle through the crowds. Once at the top the views are amazing. Definately worth seeing. Lovely places to eat and drink and lots of attractions for young and old there! Good fun and stunning.

We took the overpriced short cable car up to the top. When we got there the view was nice however we found ourselves in a third children's theme park, also had to dodge cars moving at unsafe speeds through the only pedestrian thoroughfare.

Went to Zakopane with the family thinking we would end up in a bit touristic place in the Polish side of the Tatra mountains, was I surprised that this place is overfull with people, felt like an antfarm, I clearly underestimated the tourisme here. We took the train up hoping to escape the madness and ended up in the same... More

Very nice place. From here you can see all Zakopane city and Tatra mountains. There are places to go and grab something to eat or drink. You can take the elevator to go up (22 zl both ways). To avoid the queues at the entrance, buy the tickets at the vending machines at the end of Kuprowski street. Attention: you... More

Nice trip but cars were very crowded. It was difficult to breath there. Although 5 year old did enjoy it. Good warm up when it comes to climbing-if you decide to walk up. I used to be there before few times and do not like the fact that there are soooo many little "shops" at the top now-kind of "forcing"... More

Worthy to walk at the top. It is not very long track. I took as less than one hour from the city center. During the hiking, there was very nice view at the surrounding peaks. At the top, there are lot of little shops with souvenirs and restaurants. View of course beautiful even though Gubalowka is not very high peak... More

Enjoyed a lovely one day visit to Zakopane from Kraków and could easily have spent 3-4 days. One of the highlights of your visit will be to take the cable car up Mt. Hub slowly where you can experience breathtaking views of Zakopane. The market area at the top of Gubalowka is an enjoyable itself. Plenty to see and do.
