Lessons are run by fantastic instructors. Our Instructors skiing on all slopes in Zakopane and the surrounding areas. Ski slopes are tailored to your ski skills. The ski equipment rental was seamless—everything was new, well-maintained, and pre-arranged by size before we even arrived, making the process smooth and efficient. A special thank you to our instructors, Danielle and Raphael—they were both amazing and incredibly patient with us. Since it was our first time skiing, we were a bit nervous, but thanks to their expert guidance, encouragement, and positive energy, we quickly gained confidence and had an absolute blast on the slopes! They pick you up and take you to their hire shop, then off to the slope. You then have the choice to go back with the instructor to drop the gear off and back to your hotel or else to be left with the gear and lift pass to continue using, although of course then you need to get back to the hire shop to drop off - Taxi Zone could help, for instance (whatsapp bookings in English). - RoadTrip2 contributionsWe used Go Ski for air port transfers, ski hire and ski lessons whilst we stayed in Zakopane. Paulina organised everything for us. There are always things to be stressed about when on holiday but Go Ski took that away from us. The transfers were smooth and on time Mateusz and Sebastian were really friendly as well and helped make the journeys easier. The ski hire was so efficient we were in and out in 10 minutes it was clear they knew what they were doing and our ski instructor Maciek was brilliant he understood our levels and amended our lessons to accommodate the varying levels we were at throughout our stay. I booked via email, lessons and ski hire a few months before our holiday. Communication was excellent from the beginning and all expected costs including approximate cost of lift passes were explained (we were first time skiers).
Our ski instructor Matthew promptly collected us on the first day and took us to the go ski office, we’re were kitted out and on the way to the slopes within 10 minutes all 4 of us!! So well organised with such attention to detail they ensured everything fitted and we were happy. We had 3 (2 hour) family lessons with Matthew which we thoroughly enjoyed. As complete beginners we were over the moon to be skiing blue runs confidently by the end of the 3 days. Returning equipment was equally as smooth. The ski gear was top quality and looked brand new and served us so well for our trip. I would 100% recommend go ski for ski hire and lessons, you won’t be disappointed 👍

We have just had an excellent week skiing in Zakopane thanks to both GoSki and also the amazing ski instructors Raphael and Matthew.....they were so patient and thorough during the 3 days (2 hours per day) of lessons that we had pre-booked. Four of the group were first time skiers and by day 4 all were skiing Blue runs (although some better than others). Can’t thank them enough and the equipment from GoSki was excellent......such good value as well, we took the ski’s back a day early (so we could some snowmobile excursion) and they only charged us for the 5 days we had the ski’s for.........highly recommend.

We travelled to Zakopane as a family of 4 in February Half Term.
All bookings are made by email, rather than a website. Don't be put off by this, the company are reliable and very professional.
Communication beforehand was excellent with speedy responses to all my emails.
We booked a transfer from Krakow airport to our hotel (Bellamonte - booked separately) for 400zl. The friendly driver met us off our flight and delivered us to our hotel exactly as described. We paid in cash on arrival in Zakopane.
We had booked 3 days of 2 hour lessons for the boys as well as equipment for me and boys. The instructor (Kasia) arrived at the hotel exactly as arranged on day 1 and took us to their rental store where we kitted out very quickly and efficiently. We were then taken to a beginner ski area where the boys had their first lesson. Kasia spent the first hour with my youngest (6) who was a complete beginner, and the second hour with my eldest who (9) who had had a few lessons before and could do easy green runs.
Days 2 and 3 followed the same routine but at a different ski area. After the lesson the instructor will either drive you back to your hotel or if you want to stay longer at the ski areas you can get a taxi back (25 to 50zl).
We decided to keep the equipment for our fourth and final day in Zakopane, without a lesson. If you do this you need to return the equipment yourself to their store in the town centre. My snowboard and the boys ski equipment was of a very good standard.
The instruction from Kasia was excellent and the boys both made good progress and had a great time.
All in all everything went very smoothly and everything we booked was provided exactly as described. An excellent service all round.
As a ski resort, Zakopane is limited in terms of challenge and variety. I have boarded for 20 years and I think if I was on my own I'd get bored by day 2 or 3. For begginers it was great though and the boys loved it. Just beware that February Half term is also a local holiday and it is very busy. One of the benefits of using goski is that they take you to quieter areas so lift queues were fine. On the last day we went to szymoszkowa which was stupidly busy. Twenty to thirty minute queue for a charlift and one modest 2k blue run.
Beyond skiing Zakopane has loads of other things to offer and is a great place for a holiday.
If like us you want a winter break, which is a bit different, with the opportunity for our kids to learn to ski - Zakopane is perfect.
If you want a pure skiing holiday, the crowds and limited slopes may not appeal.
If you do choose Zakopane, I highly recommend GoSki, who were excellent all round.

Absolutely fantastic. This is my second time using go ski and their attention to detail and professionalism is excellent. From picking us up at the airport to lessons to equipment. It made our trip easy and carefree. Cannot recommend enough.

Excellent and fast service. Very nice guys, they explain everything clearly and well. We were especially pleased with the instructor Refael, who taught me and my child to ski in two hours. Very patient, cheerful, explains well.

This was our first time in Zakopane and only had the odd ski lesson indoors in the UK. We rented equipment from GoSki from 20 Jan to 22 Jan 2020.
We were very impressed. At first the premises looked very small, but their equipment is very new and well looked after, and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
We also had a refresher course with Peter (instructor), who was very good and patient. Got us from snow plough to parallel in under 3 hrous. We then hit the Blue Slopes for the following two days and felt very much in control.
The fees for both equipmemnt rental and 3hr lesson were very reasonable.
We even got printed photos and CD of humdreds of Zakopane scenary photos as a gift when we returned the equipment.
We will definitely use GoSki next year when we return to Zakopane.

We booked transfers, ski equipment hire and lessons in advance of our stay and every aspect was perfect. Before the first lesson, our instructors picked us up from our apartment and took us to the office to collect our equipment; we were ready for the slopes within five minutes.
We had private lessons with two instructors for our family group of mixed skiing ability. Adam and Tom were both excellent: patient, knowledgeable and helpful above-and-beyond our expectations.
We all made excellent progress with our skiing and the private lessons were well worth the cost. Adam and Tom also provided very useful information on what to do in Zakopane and which slopes to visit after our lessons.
I thoroughly recommend Go!Ski as they more than delivered on every aspect of the service we had booked.

What a fantastic company to help 2 x first time skiers. Very easy getting all the gear from skis, boots, poles and all gear. The price is exceptional against all other European alps. Now to the man who made it an absolute blast, Jake. One of the nicest, funniest and well articulated instructors I have met. I am very big on how one coaches and articulates themselves and my wife was very nervous but he put that to bed from the first stretch. Thank you Jake, I will be back and will ensure to request you for further lessons :)

From the moment we entered the door the guys were friendly and welcoming, and had very good English . Marcin a natural, brilliant teacher who not only made us feel safe but within 2 hours had us skiing downhill and wanting to come back for more. On returning to the office, the guys were genuinely interested in our experience and were so happy that we enjoyed ourselves. Totally recommend Go!Ski Zakapone

I had my first skiing lesson today.
We were picked up from our accommodation by our instructor Maciek Kominko who took us straight to the ski rental place. Very professional and friendly team geared us up very quickly and we were on our way to the slope within few minutes. Maciek was a super friendly and experienced instructor. His instruction was super helpful with lots of amazing tips given to make our skiing experience effortless.
After 2h of lessons we were able to stay on the slope and continue skiing by our selves. Thank you Maciek.
Bardzo profesjonalna obsługa, Maciek nasz instruktor nie mógł być lepszy. Jego cierpliwość i przyjazne podejście bardzo ułatwiło nam naukę.

In Zakopane, the starting point is Nosal, great nursery slopes for beginners, I self taught my boy there when he was 3, but they have professional instructors there, although I would book in advance.

Set of skis boots and poles for 5 days about 675 zlot (~135 phounds).
Lift pass about 90 euro per day.
But may be better skiing Byalka Tatrshanska!!!! Its a beautiful place not so far from Zakipane.

Одежду не брал, все таки лучше свою иметь и кстати, цены в Польше оооочень низкие, рекомендую!
По поводу инструкторов: как попадете, в среднем все очень доброжелательные и ответственные, по цене около 50 евро за занятие, кстати, не торопитесь брать курсы, может хватит одно два занятия, сами почувствуете.

Hello,
I am planning on bringing a school tour here from Ireland in February. 35 students and 4 teachers. I have been recommended Harenda and Szymoszkowa for 2 days and the last 3 days at Kotelnica. My concern is the first two seem very limited, with only one ski lift ???
Would we be better off basing ourselves in Kotelnica for the week as I hear it is a 45min drive there from Zakopane.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
