The main street is full of life, with market stalls, shops and cafes. There were a lot of people but it is a very popular place for the summer holidays so understandable. Very easy to spend an enjoyable day visiting the churches and museums and sampling the local food. Traffic can be a bit of a nightmare but there are... More

Lots of cafes, restaurants and gift shops. You will enjoy the view on Tatras Mountains. You will be able to access the nearest tracks and horse carriages which can take you up to Morskie Oko. The view on Morskie Oko is amazing. Safe for kids and adults of all ages. People are very nice and friendly. Górale can be compared... More

Lovely restaurants, busy shops, hundreds of colours! Whether day or night time Krupowki street is the place to be in Zakopane! The prices elsewhere in Zakopane might be lower but nothing can replace the atmosphere of that place. First time in Zakopane this is a must see spot!

In july on a long weekend Zakopane was heaving with visitors. Do not come expecting a quiet mountain village. It is very popular with Polish families for day trips and breaks in the summer and obviously as a ski resort in winter. The main street is lined with pine clad cafes and restaurants which tend to resemble each other quite strongly.... More

This area is the hub of Zakopane. From markets to restaurants, disco's, clothing shops , banks , general supply stores . You can walk for up to 1.5km all day and night till 04h00 in the morning. Very safe and secure , only saw 2 policeman in 10 days.

This street is just like the tourist info states – ‘the most vibrant street in Poland’ we could not believe the amount of people here. There are many well priced restaurants and plenty of coffee shops etc – food everywhere along with all sorts of tourist knickknacks. A must if in this area – but note there is nowhere to... More

Like all holiday locations, it depends on what you're looking for. The mountains around Zakopane are a place of great natural beauty. This main street, in contrast, is 80% full of touristy trash and fast food. Avoid it at all costs in the main season, when it becomes difficult to push your way through the crowds.

The main street in Zakopane, so understandably very "touristy", nevertheless a good place to walk and eat..
