You are going with a sled over a road 2.1 km one way, there you turn and go the same way back.. on that same road are also cars. Afterwards you get a sausage with sauerkraut and some bread Nothing really special for 40 euro pp

Dear Mr/Mrs, we do not have offer as you wrote. We only make sleigh rides in Chocholowska Valley (Tatra National Park) - there are not any cars. After the sleigh ride we make real highlander barbecue with live music, games and catering with a lot of regional dishes (2 hours). Our programme is 3 hours (1h Sleigh Ride and 2h of Party). You can find our offer at www.kuligi.pl. We are really sad that you wrote this opinion about us because we are sure that you make a reservation in different company - not KULIGI.pl. So we hope that you change this unfair opinion about us (the highest quality to our Customers is our priority). We also invite you to make a reservation at KULIGI.pl to change opinion about sleigh rides in Tatra Mountains! :) Thank you, kind regars - KULIGI.pl.

We had our Kulig (horse drawn sleigh ride) in the Dolina Chocholowska valley. We were on one of the last sleigh rides for the evening, we arrived at 8 pm. It snowed for a few days before our sleigh ride so there was plenty of snow to ride on. It was a very cold night -13c, but the sky was clear so there were plenty of stars. This is a very romantic ride if you are lucky enough to be the only two on the sleigh. There were 4-person sleighs and 8-person sleighs. This activity takes about 2-3hrs. The sleigh ride is about an hour-long followed by a 1-2hr cookout. Our cookout consisted of sausages and oscypki(local cheese)over a fire, bread with smalec (lard and bacon bits spread) and pickles. To drink we had hot tea, hot wine, and hot tea with vodka. We also had Gorale (Highlanders) playing music by the bonfire. It was a great evening spent by the fire drinking and singing. Tips: This is a very popular activity in the wintertime, spots fill up quickly, make your reservations a couple of days in advance. Choose a day that isn't the coldest day of the week It gets very cold in the valley, dress warm Go when there is a fresh base of snow Go when there's a full moon Try to book one of the first sleigh rides for the evening somewhere around sunset. We booked this and didn’t really know what to expect, it’s something really different .. it was great, we went on a sleigh around the valley which was covered in snow, so beautiful. Afterwards, we went to the bbq party.. that was an experience! The polish highlanders didn’t understand a word of English & neither did anyone in our group, which was slightly difficult when they called us up on stage with another group to play a drinking game but was all part of the fun! Food standing around the fire in the middle of the snow at night was amazing and definitely worth the money.
