It would have been interesting if there had been more in English. Although we knew it was mainly in Polish, we still went because other reviewers said the host translated for them. This was true but it was for about 10 minutes over an hour and a half. So I don't recommend this place unless you speak Polish. The museum could resolve this by creating an audio guide in English and/or some written information. Otherwise it's very boring. The participation in making the cheese takes about 5 minutes so not enough to do in an hour and a half.

Great place for adults and kids. You can hear the History of Tatry and see how the cheese process is looking. Nice time - at the end you can buy real hand made cheese. Special thanks for Baca. Must to visit during your stay in Zakopane.

Only for Polish visitors. The cheese production took very little time. Everything else was information. At the end you could press cheese into molds yourself, which unfortunately was inedible. I would have also liked a small sample of Oscypek.

A great experience where you can learn about the various Polish regional cheeses, the history, production methods and ingredients. You will meet an actual “Baca” (Chief Shepherd) who introduces the traditions, folklore and beliefs of the Polish Górale (mountain folk) that have lived in the Zakopane region for many generations. The presentation ends with participants making their own little piece of Oscypek cheese. In the end, take a photo in regional dress with Baca! Well worth the 1.5 hours!!

Great place, worth visiting. I think this is a must-see for every tourist visiting Zakopane. There you can experience a valuable lesson in the history and traditions of the highlanders thanks to interesting stories. The big advantage of this place are the people who create it.

Although everything was in Polish it is still interesting to see how they make their cheese and what made it even more interesting is that the guy who works there translated for us to English the whole story of cheese. We enjoyed it and definitely recommend.

We visited as a party of four, not realising that this particular talk was in Polish. One of the presenters spoke very good English and was doing part of the presentation, but in Polish. He said while the other presenter was doing his part, he would do his best to come over to us at the back and quietly explain in English what had been said, which he did and it was very interesting and informative. The other man doing the practical demonstration of making the cheese was, as other reviewers have noted, very funny and quite a character. Afterwards there was the opportunity to press and take home your own little cheese. We enjoyed the history and demonstration and would recommend this attraction to anyone. They do tours in English so check before booking. My only suggestion would be for them to have some soft drinks on sale, as having walked to get there we were very thirsty by the end of the presentation. Also if you have young children they may get a little restless as the tour lasts over an hour and a half. We had a great afternoon, thank you!
