We offer info about the area as well as trips/tours in Zakopane and the surrounding areas, we also offer many other summer and winter activities plus a range of accommodation. We have a giftshop with all the best Souvenirs from the region and other polish artists. We also provide paid luggage storage, we are right next to the main station so it is easy to access and drop bags while waiting to checkin to your accommodation or while you explore the town.

We had been looking forward to our horse sleigh ride through the mountains since making our reservation some months prior, so our expectations had gradually increased over time. By the end of the day we agreed our expectations had been surpassed. We had a wonderful day. Retha's professionalism and hospitality was fantastic. The sleigh ride was something we'll long remember.

Great trip, great tour guide - Pawel and driver! (Sorry forgot his name) his driving was ‘spot on’ 👍🏻 very safe and passenger friendly. From the early pick up, information provided, and the beautiful scenery this trip is a must! Especially the Thermal Spa to finish the day off - it was amazing. I sent the following message the morning after in recognition of a great day….”Good Morning Pawel- just to say thank you very much for yesterday and the trip to Zakopane and Thermal spa. And your driver too, we had a great time!! Thank you Dave & Lorraine Phillips”

Was walking around in Zakopane and luckily I stumbled into their base. Was not quite sure what I had gone in to. Was it a store, a rental management, a trip agency or tourist information? It turns out that its everything you need in Zakopane, and much more. For onece I met friendly and smiling faces in this country. Since it was raining I ended up with a privat tour. It was very nice and Retha has amazingly much knowlege, not just about Zakopane. She was very helpful with tracking hikingroutes. They have also a very awsome store.
Too bad the weather wasn't on my side I belive Zakopane could be amazing, especially with help from Kara and Retha. I recommend you to contact them if your in Zakopane, they will help you with everything.

We scheduled both the sleigh ride and ski lesson.
As our first time skiing we found our instructor to be really helpful and patient, going through a physical warm up and on to basics and up to coming down the small slope. Despite me being rubbish at skiing I thoroughly enjoyed the lesson and credit this to our instructor. We will be returning and using your guys again, lots more lessons needed..
Unfortunately due to the rain we didn't go on the sleigh ride but this was our choice, Bazatatry offered us advice about our trip and travels around poland and were very kind advising us that a rainy sleigh ride would be no fun. Most companies would have done anything to be paid but these guys really put your experience first and are a refreshing change.

I'm an Asian woman who's never been to Poland, so I thought I would pay a little bit more and hire a private guide for 2 days of hiking/trekking. I contacted Retha of BazaTatry weeks before my trip. Not only she gave me very good suggestion, she also told me that I could hire their service for the first day, and she would ask the guide to show me how to use public transport for my second day, so that I don't have to spend that much on private tour. I told them I would like to be spared from the tourist stuff and my hiking experience, and ask them to tailor-made a tour for me.
I traveled from Krakow to Zakopane by bus, and located BazaTatry easily once I arrived the bus station. BazaTatry is the office of the tour company but also a shop filled with quality Polish design. My guide for the day was a local named Hania. She gave me a wonderful tour to a beautiful valley then the mountain Nosal. On the way she provided with amazing information and interesting stories about the biophysical environment and history of the national park. She had also offered me snacks and fruit.
I've asked for quotation from other tours, and this is the best bargain. I like the fact that they keep the price down by using public transport, which is very convenient and helped me to get around on my own afterwards.
I really appreciate the realistic and honest information BazaTatry provided, and the amazing tour Hania had given me. If you are visiting Zakopane for the first time, I strongly suggest you to join a tour offered by BazaTatry, if not, as least stop by the shop and buy some really lovely souvenirs!

Great organisation of our excursions (trekking, snow shoe hike, horse riding and more!), really helpful and nice guide (thanks Hania!), express taxi transportation, and best customer service! We really enjoyed our stay in Zakopane thanks to BazaTatry's organisation of our 4 day itinerary. Highly recommended to anyone looking to have a wonderful stay in Zakopane. Thanks a lot!

We visited the gift shop and bought a few things. I suggest this place for getting your souvenirs, they are interesting and tasteful. I bought a beautiful ceramic mug. They sell a variety of items, tshirts, cute earnings, necklaces, socks, prints, cards, ceramics, metal mugs and other small items.

We had a great time. Both Retha and Karolina were extremely helpful and very sweet. The lesson was very fun, exciting and professional. Also very helpful when when it came to renting the necessary equipment and the transport was also a nice addition. Would highly recommend. The gift shop is also really nice and sells many unique postcards and souveniers.
