The Holy Family church was consecrated in 1899, when Zakopane with some 3000 inhabitants was still more of a village than a town. For this reason the church, though built on an elevation still looks rather modest in size. The neo-Romanesque architecture, also popular in England at the time, exhales a kind of optimism.

The interior is richly decorated with colorful paintings and images of saints. The believers take good care of the church as it is well maintained and spotless. They are also proud to be part of the LGBT ideology free zone. Difficult to understand for a Westerner why so much emphasis is put on this subject. Catholics in other parts of Europe have moved to more tolerance and respect of people of different beliefs and lifestyles.

Located at the end of Krupowki shopping street. It stands majestic against the blue skies on that day we visited it. Interior decor exudes peace of faith. From a busy street to an oasis of rest and quiet. The stairway to the church is a good point of taking pictures with the church as a background.

It is a late 19th century church.

It is located in the beginning of the main street of Zakopane, Krupówki.

While it is nothing special from outside, it is relatively nice inside, with bright, colourful and original wall paintings.

You can see the local people love their church. It was heartwarming to see the people waiting in line for confessions. Immediately felt the peace and love emitting from our Holy Family. A must visit for all believers.

We visited this place after strolling down the main street and found it incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The interior is as nice and the exterior and it offers a welcome respite from the heat and bustle of the thriving street outside.

Unfortunately, there was a mass being conducted so we could not wander around, a beautiful church with lovely views of the mountains.

Located at the lower part of Krupowki street , only a few minutes walk to the Gubalowka funicular (see separate review) . Buit towards the end of 19th Cent. , this one tower church is small and nice outside but surprisingly beautiful inside . It is worth a few minutes stop here , Great photo op .

This is a small church in Zakopane . The most prominent feature when you walked towards the church was it tall spire/tower. I think it was probably the highest structure in this little mountain town and could be seen from a distance.

The inside of the church was quite impressive for a small church. It had the usual gold and wood around the altar but it is the use of multiple colors and designs on almost all walls and ceilings. There is a ceiling section that had wood framing that has designs printed against a background of a blue ceiling. The walls are almost completely covered with prints and colors.

This is not a big church but it makes up with beautiful color palettes on the walls, columns, arches and ceilings. If you are in this area and have some time on your hands, this church is worth a visit.
