We took 7 and 9 old boys with us. Cable rail takes you to almost the top so you have only 20 min trail left. On the end of the cable rail there are attractions for kids, like summer sledding.

End of our trip from Mala Czantoria was bobsled track on top of Velka Czantoria. I was surprised from the price 1 person/1 run is 65CZK :-)

We mounted up and went down on foot - ca 2h with small kids but beatifull trip via the forest on the slope.

This is a standard lift opened daily during winter or summer season. At the top station there are fiew atractions for kids.

If you are in Ustron/Wisla for trip make sure to go and enjoy the lift to Czantoria. Quiet and Relaxing, once on the top it is short walk to the mountain peak where you can enjoy Czach beer as the country border goes through the mountain.

There's an outstanding peak in border ridge of Beskid Śląski, called Wielka Czantoria (High Czantoria), but for most tourists visiting Ustroń the name Czantoria (not "high" in this matter) is associated with a chair lift, which bottom station can be found in southern outskirts of Ustroń (Ustroń Polana district), and top station is located on Czantoria slopes, about 1,0 km from mountains top. So the last bit can only be done on foot. Chair lift provides superb views on central and northern parts of Beskid Śląski. Top station is surrounded by all sorts of fast food outlets. There.s also a small sun lounger rental, with a possibility of catching natural tan on a meadow just below the top station. I managed to get myself to the top station of the chair lift twice in one day, once on chair lift, and once on foot, using red marked long distance trail - the longest in Polish Carpathians. And I strongly suggest to walk that trail up there, even if the path can be surprisingly steep at times.

This mountain is best accessed via the cable car although you can walk up to it. There are a range of actitvities at the top station including a toboggan run and a further track that leads 30 minutes to the summit. From here you can pay an additional fee to climb the observation tower for wonderful views over the mountains and into the Czech Republic. An enjoyable half day excursion.

You can buy tickets for going up or both sides. From the top you have nice view for mountains . There is also place to have some rest, coffe, tea or grab some food.

Very picturesque. Views are stunning. Even for not perfectly abled people not too difficult if take a chairlift. Walking up and/or down only for abled bodies ones.

Czy można wjechać z półtorarocznym dzieckiem? Podejrzewam, że kolej nie jest wyposażona w zabezpieczenia dla takich maluchów, ale myślę o szelkach, za które dodatkowo będzie można asekurować dziecko, albo nosidło. Jak to wygląda ze strony personelu. Wpuszczają z takim małym dzieckiem?

Koleją mogą podróżować dzieci w każdym wieku. Małe dzieci należy przewozić w nosidełku turystycznym lub foteliku. Dzieci do dnia 4 urodzin podróżują Koleją bezpłatnie. Pozdrawiam!
