Guided tour throug Tyskie Brewery Museum is quite atractive for history lovers. Do not expect a lot of interactive activity overhere. Not reccomended for children.

Historical Aromatic Tyskie Brewery
Nov 2019 • Friends
This evening our Poland plant manager brought us to this beautiful historical aromatic brewery. I have been to numerous brewery and none can be compared to this. This is because not only does it has a nice historical story, it also has artistic well preserved artectiture. To add on I have never come by such an aromatic brewery. The brewery guide is professional and very patience with us. He shared the process and the history. We also get to see the old and modern automatic brewery. Furthermore watched a 3D show too and finally got a 14day brew drink. Oh my god, it taste so nice. If you love beer, you must go for this. It will be best to visit during daytime so that you can see the gorgeous building better and the train and trail. Dont miss it.

Don't Try and Buy Anything After the Tour
Sep 2019 • Couples
We thoroughly enjoyed the Tyskie brewery tour. Our tour guide was fantastic, well informed and got us involved by asking us questions through out the duration. Our problems started after the tour. We went down to the bar are were greeted with s rather fed up barman that quite clearly didn't want us or himself to be there. We were going to stay for a few more drinks but decided to leave due to this.
We then went back upstairs to purchase some of the Tyskie glasses. We stood for a good 5 minutes working out what we were going to buy. We then asked a member of staff but we're told abruptly that it wasn't her but was in fact the person that was on the phone. We stood directly in front of her for a good 15 to 20 minutes trying to catch her attention but she was having none of it. So we decided to leave, as we were walking away a tour operator approached her and she instantly came off the phone and spoke to him and the people that were with him in the group. We could only assume that she wasn't interested in serving us as we are British.
Unfortunately what started as a great didn't end very pleasantly for us.

Great Tour
May 2019 • Solo
Must be honest, just went in to kill time. Left the tour 2 hours later having learned so much, enjoyed meeting some new people and seeing the intricacies of the beer making process as well as the history. Extremely knowledgeable tour guide was able to answer simple questions that I'm sure she's heard on every tour in a nice friendly way. Recommended

Dude, the bottling facility is amazing!
Oct 2017 • Couples
I'm going to jump right to it, since the rest is pretty much the standard brewery tour. There is nothing standard about the bottling facility though. The bottle are being filled, capped, labeled, boxed, pallated and ready for shipment at blazing speed. If my memory serves me right it was 1,200 bottles per minute per minute.

If you are in the area and like beer or automation, then you need to check this out!

Tysky Brewery
Sep 2017 • Business
The Tychy Brewery Museum is an interesting place that I enjoyed visiting. You don't get a chance to see the beer actually made but the guide does an excellent job of sharing and talking about the history of the brewery and takes you through 3 different buildings where you can actually see the bottles being packaged. Although the floor in the packaging area had busted beer bottles laying on the floor throughout. I would still recommend visiting the brewery if you have time and getting your picture taken inside a large Keg.

Interesting but book ahead
Sep 2017 • Business
Good value for money but very small museum if not booked ahead. Need to book ahead to take the full guided tour round the brewery, in any language other than Polish. Price is reduced for just museum ticket without the guided tour. The bar area is very nice brick built vaults great building and nice free beer with entry ticket.
Tychy is easy bus ride from Katowice centre.

Interesting and entertaining

2 hour tour of a historic brewery that escaped damage during World War Two. First hour takes place in the museum and goes over the history of the brewery. Short 3D film and some basic background on how to make beer. The second hour involves quite a bit of walking and you get to see the historic part of the brewery. A lot of the original equipment has been renovated and modernized and still used today. You cross the street to the modern bottling plant to see their three bottling lines. After the tour you return to the museum building and in the basement where there is a company pub. With your ticket you get one free half liter of their 14-day unpasteurized "fresh" beer.
One minus for me was that you don't really see the beer being brewed. I guess because of health and safety reasons, you don't actually see the process. The guide told us what was happening in various rooms but you don't really see it. The brewery operates 24 hours a day. My wife and I stayed in a hotel about 5 minutes away from the brewery and you really smell the fermentation at night.
The tour is open to people 18+ years or older. No kids allowed.

its takes two and a half hour to visit the brewery, they show a short movie as well. It was good informative session, but the best part for me was beer tasting at the end ;-)
