About
Mercy Brown is one of the precursors of the so-called speakeasy bars, i.e. the concept of a hidden place, operating without a sign, in which the leader is an excellent cocktail, characteristic music of the 20s and 30s of the last century and micro artistic events intended for a small, selected number of guests. In addition to a sophisticated cocktail and intuitive service, Mercy Brown has been offering artistic attractions in the form of international burlesque or sophisticated jazz concerts from the very beginning. #CocktailsandSwing is the keynote of Mercy Brown, and quality entertainment is the main dish served by the Cocktail Bar of 2017 and 2018, and the 50 Best Discovery 2021.

wonderful little cocktail bar with a speakeasy vibe. One should make reservations prior to visiting to ensure there is space. The location is a bit difficult to find as it is easily overlooked being co-located with another establishment. Once you walk past the cloakroom and traverse the stairs, you will enter a dark and comfortable bar. You will quickly be presented a glass of water and the cocktail card. During the visit, the card was Christmas themed and found the offerings to be a little too sweet for my tastes. The staff was able to accommodate, and make an excellent vieux carré. The location also has live music on certain nights and during the visit, had the opportunity to watch a wonderful jazz performance. The toilets were a little on the small side but kept clean. The staff I encountered, Alicia and Aleksander were exceptional and provided excellent service through out my entire visit. Highly recommend a visit to this location, especially if you are fan of classic cocktails, great service, and wonderful ambiance.

You will have to ask at the restaurant in front as the entrance is pretty well hidden. However its worth the effort as it has great atmosphere and a very wide selection of cocktails (in Oct 21 table service). They also run burlesque/cabaret evenings and although we didn't catch one it is probably the best venue for this we saw in Poland.
Will be back.

This bar without a doubt is the best! As soon as you enter you feel like you've stepped back in time. The music, the furniture, glassware and atmosphere. We always make a point of sitting at the bar to interact with the staff, watch them create and enjoy our drinks. The cocktail menu is a combination of classics with a twist to some chemistry. What these guys create can only be sampled to be believed.
If you thought you knew cocktails - you don't until you land here

Hidden gem! Great cocktails, don’t be out off by the location, the bar is upstairs and looks very different to the cafe/restaurant entrance of a different place. Cocktail choice was varied. We didn’t book and took the last table so would recommend booking on a Friday evening.

Enjoyed the covert nature of the experience immensely. The staff were very professional and attentive. The cocktails, however, are truly disgusting and they don't serve beer at all. Although we planned to be there for the whole evening, we didn't stay long at all because the choice of drinks was so limited

Me and my partner pretty liked this place. But we expected something a bit different. More classy in a way. Mercy Brown feels more hipster place.

My partner absolutely hated to see stuff drinking near the bar just in front of the eyes of customers without trying to hide it.

However the service there is very good . Not mad about cocktails - would be nice if they would have a richer wine choice .

However I would like to go there again . And give another chance!

Loved the hidden entrance but found bar staff very unfriendly when inside. They didn't seem to want anyone over 50. Didn't have the cocktail in the tea cup they advertise. We had booked a table 2weeks in advance yet we didn't feel welcome & were given a table squashed in corner with a large group. Shame as I was so excited about visiting Mercy Brown.

Arrived looking forward to a chilled evening to be told that we couldn’t come in - we didn’t have reservations. Tried to make reservations for the following evening but they wouldn’t take them even though they weren’t quite fully booked. Unfriendly and unwelcoming. Save your money and go elsewhere - there are plenty of other establishments where you can have a great evening, for less money and much more welcoming. Give Mercy Brown a miss!
