Joined this tour not really knowing what to expect but it was brilliant.
Eugeniusz our guide was both interesting and entertaining despite it only being his second tour.
I learned loads about the city despite having been here before
Highly recommended

We took three tours two of the free ones and one paid. Although the paid one worked out at £21 for two of us for an evening walk. This was two hours and seems awfully cheap.

The first tour we took was the old town our guide was slawek, very interesting and informative, finishing at the castle. He had many stories about the medieval times and modern day. Due to the quality of this tour we choose them again for our next tour. The second tour was of the Jewish quarter with eugene he showed how the Jewsish area use to be an island and where the river had been filled in, again really interesting tour and both guides were extremely knowledgeable about the history and the areas. You pay what you believe the tour is worth at the end.

The third tour was the evening 7 sins tour again our guide was slawek, this was about the darker side of Kraków. This was a paid tour which we booked on line. Again very interesting and well informative. We believed the tour was worth more than they charged for the two hours.

Gave a real insight into the diversity of Kraków and Poland’s history. How the city has developed since medieval times. The impact of the world war 2 and how it changed the population.

If your looking for good tours that are well done I highly recommend good tours. The quality of the tours both the free ones and the paid was excellent

We had tour today in the Jewish Quarter of Krakow with amazing guide Bartek.
Myself and my boyfriend learnt a lot in the 2 and half hour tour about the Jewish heritage and harrowing history of Jews in Krakow.
Although the history of the Jewish quarter and heritage in Krakow is truly devastating, it is something ALL must experience when visiting the city.
I cannot recommend the good tours enough and specifically our lovely guide Bartek.
Everyone must go and do this tour!
Thank you so much!

Tour was meant to start at half 2. Because of rain they decided to postpone it till 4. This would be understandable if we had been given advance notice, say via email (all our address which they had), but the first I knew was when I turned up at half 2. This really messed up my plans as I did not have long in Krakow. The tour itself was reasonable, I did learn some interesting stuff but it wasn't anything special. The kicker however came at the end, I gathered all the loose change I had to give as a tip (afterwards I counted it, was 14.4 zolty) which I know it isn't much but it was literally the last of my money. When the tour guide (Eugene) saw I was about to give him coins he flat out refused it and said coins were worthless. I was completely shocked, he then carried on about how it's really poor for a 2 hour tour to give him that much, and that it could buy him a coffee max (which after I spent on myself got me dinner, a beer, and a small amount of change to give to a homeless guy). I'm a student at university who works 3 part time jobs during term to keep myself afloat, if I had more money I would have offered it, but I thought the whole point of walking tours is to give what you can. Or at least that was the mentality from the half dozen other tours I've done in Europe, the guide Eugene however doesn't seem to share this view. Therefore I think he would be better in a company that offers paid tours

This was our 4th city break this year and we go on these ‘Free Guided Walks’ which we have always enjoyed. This time we got Maria who was doing this as her summer job and sounded as if she had learnt by heart a sheet she had been given. Anything else and she was lost. The 15th August, a feast day and a national holiday in Poland and she didn’t have a clue why there was thousands of people filling the market square and streets of Krakow. Jesus went to heaven she said... There were some young lads who kept chatting to her, which happens at that age, but after 2 hours it was all too much.
You only have so much time on a city break and we couldn’t afford time to go on another, this was a waste of time. And then when she finished she didn’t even tell us how to get back to the starting point. She never once told us where we were going next, just follow her she said. And also, we have usually prebooked but with this company when we arrived 30 minutes early to book (an email a few weeks earlier wouldn’t take a booking) she said come back at the tour time. So what if 60 people turned up..?
Learnt more from my guide book.

I'm positively surprised. Last Sunday I invited my friends from Warsaw to visit Cracow. Eugeniusz was our tour guide and I don' t regret it :)! He told us many facts about history of Poland and Cracow, a lot of anecdotes, legends and interesting stories. Eugeniusz is a smiley and professional guy I can recommend him.

PS. Now I hope my friends will finally understand that Cracow is beter than Warsaw:P

I have been on the tour with Richard.I really liked his presentation and stories. We went through main site of Old town, had a break and finished in castle. Based on tips. Pretty fair. You have nothing to loose.

We joined the Old Town Tour in the morning and the Jewish quarter Tour in the afternoon, both held by Chris.
Plenty of information have been provided and with an extremely accurate way to describe them. Chris has been really proactive speaking about all the beautiful things we went through and he has presented them in a very satisfactory way. Thanks to Chris we really enjoyed the city and the day we spent around, we're glad to have met a guy so passionate regarding his country and its history. Mostly we're glad as we learnt many interesting things that we wouldn't otherwise.

Thanks to Eugene with green umbrella) Free tour was absolutely amazing, despite very cold weather! He'll tell you a lot of interesting stories, show you secret places where you shouldn't pay for entrance. And he is so funny!
We visited Jewish quarter and the story is very sad. But we all have to know the history. So I highly recommend free walking tour)

We joined the Friday 730pm tour of 7 Deadly Sins of Krakow with Bartek. Great tour (~2hour) in getting a different perspective of Krakow - real stories of sex / greed / anger etc of this town in Poland! Bartek is very helpful, he always makes sure everyone is having a good experience and I surely enjoyed the tour with him. Thank you!
