- Neil KLiverpool, United Kingdom616,526 contributionsGreat bar ,hot day sat in the beer gardenMy twin brother Stephen and I were pub and bar hopping around the wonderful Kazimierz District when we dropped into one of our favourite bars namely Eszeweria Bar. I love the look of this bar, untouched by time ,the interior is awesome, vintage decor and furnishings with lots of Art Deco style decorative features throughout this multi roomed bar,a cute looking serving bar and there's lots of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside in their beer garden ,it's just a great bar to chill out in. We were here on a really hot afternoon ,we ordered cherry vodka's and took them into their beer garden which was packed ,we luckily managed to grab a table were we chilled out in the sunshine. We sampled cherry vodka on our visit ,a big fan of the vodka's served in Krakow ,so tasty ,very drinkable and the cherry vodka is dangerously drinkable. We really enjoyed our vodka's sat in the sun before we moved on and as on all previous visits we had a great time. Eszeweria Bar is easy to locate along Ulica Jozefa,a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,10am till 2am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.Visited August 2022Traveled with friendsWritten August 16, 2022
- adam u1 contributionIncensed gemYou wouldn’t know it by the street, room after room of intimate spaces, with couches, multicolored pillows, and different seating arrangements to suit your desire. Inexpensive drinks. Heard in summer the back courtyard is very nice… after a few drinks the incense does get overwhelming thoughVisited February 2023Traveled with friendsWritten February 3, 2023
- Stuart HGlasgow, United Kingdom279 contributionsIt would be a crime not to try itI've been visiting this wee jem of a bar for about 13 years and just love it. I've read other reviews and will agree the bar staff can sometimes be a bit "nippy", but hey, everybody can have a bit of an Off day. The prices are good, atmosphere is fantastic and I wish I knew what "flavour" the incence sticks are as I'd love to get some. Sure a lot of the place is for smokers, but if you worry about that sort of stuff there is literally dozens of other bars within a 5 - 10 minute walk. The garden is open in the summer and better weather in spring and autumn. It is a bit of a Marmite place I guess but I wouldn't change it for the world and is always one of my first ports of call when arriving in Kazimierz.Visited September 2020Written May 13, 2021

Recommended by a local food tour guide, this place was great. Initially thrown by all the people stood around the bar but not ordering we were a bit confused (was this an odd polish tradition?!) turned out there is just one loo! The drinks are cheap, the music good, the staff quirky and friendly, and you could be at home here either reading your book, with your dog or catching up with friends. To be aware however - the whole back of the pub is an indoor smoking area and the bar is cash only. Recommend making a detour from the more tourist focused pubs to come and have a drink here.

Called in here simply because it was directly opposite where we were eating. The place is like a blast from the past, lovely feel to it and opens out at the back into a garden area with fresh flowers on the tables...a nice touch. Would have given it 5 stars except that on asking at the bar for a drinks menu to let the ladies have, I was told `it`s up there` as the staff pointed to a blackboard above the bar. Attention to detail lads, print a drinks menu for the tables.

Sought out this little bar in Kasmierz on Jozefa Street.
It's located almost opposite Starka Bar.
As you enter it is a very deceptive bar, long but thin which opens into a further room at the back.
Outside at the rear is a lovely little rustic garden with tables.
A very quaint bar that you'd walk past without knowing.
Worth a call in for the decor alone, but a very good selection of drinks as well.

We have drinks here every time we visit Krakow, we love it. There's a log burner in a corner in the winter, it's very shabby chic. Good selection of beers and other drinks, try the hot chocolate very tasty.

Odd little bar that smells of incense as soon as you walk in... Reminds me of a pre-war Speak-easy... We went for one drink at around 1100 and it was quite full but not too busy. Would definitely go again... The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the bar lady was a bit abrupt and not very welcoming.

Eszeweria Bar is without a shadow of a doubt one of the coolest bars in the Jewish Quarter ( Kazimierz ) ,it's a bar that I've been to on so many occasions over the year's and with each passing year this bar gets better and better.
The interior is absolutely awesome, eclectic vintage decor and furnishings abound throughout this cosy low lit bar, there's a rustic cool looking serving bar and all manner of bric a brac adorning the walls and ceilings, there's also plenty of seating options spread throughout Eszeweria Bar, it really is a superb bar to just lose yourself and chill out.
On our resent eight days holiday to Krakow my twin brother Stephen and I visited Eszeweria Bar a few times ,our first visit on a freezing cold and snowy Wednesday night was cool,we enjoyed some great beers and vodka's sat in this nice warm bar were we just took in not just the great bar we were in but the wonderful location, our second visit was more or less the same, got here late at night after pub and bar hopping around this part of town and just chilling out and going over the great day out we had just had in this most beautiful of cities.
I am back in Krakow next January and I know I will be returning to this bar .
Eszeweria Bar is easy to locate on Ulica Jozefa in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination.
A great bar,one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area.

Love this place, feels like Kazimierz in 100%. Narrow, a bit dark, with historical details and full of joss sticks, so if you’re not fan of that smell it’s definitely not a place for you. If you don’t mind, you should definitely pop in for a drink and you will stay longer 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

We popped in here for an after dinner drink and we’re not overly impressed.
We had read some reviews saying it was an awesome place but found it to be dark and dingy.
The outside would have been better but the place is very overgrown with bushes and the ground is uneven meaning the tables all rock back and forward.
There are also a lot of people smoking outside who care not if the smoke goes straight into your face.
Good luck getting served at the bar as the staff are well hidden just like the only single toilet.
Finding somewhere less rough is easy.

Interior is absolutely beautiful. I could just sit there all day and admire how it looks. Coffee IsIsok ok, chocolate also. There is one big disadvantage though. The service is terrible. I have been there 3 times and everytime there were mean waitresses. I am not coming back unfortunately.
