About
The food tour gives you an opportunity to taste fantastic Polish dishes and hear the stories behind them. You will learn why Poles ferment everything, why they somethimes long for food produced in the 70’s, why you can’t trust the invitation „for a cup of coffee.” You will visit 4-5 establishments, so be prepared for a full meal (and a dessert, of course). The tour is daily!

Fantastic!! Michal weaved stories of Polish history and culture throughout my four friends and my four hour excursion into Polish food. The food was spectacular; Michal was extraordinarily knowledgeable and charming. I have taken multiple food tours in many cities, including Krakow, and this is the best. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon in gorgeous Krakow! Thank you, Michal!!

Thomasz was a great tour guide! My husband and I truly enjoyed the variety of food and conversation we got from the Eat Polska food tour. The guides passion of Polish cuisine really shines in this tour and every stop was delicious. After the tour we received a summary of the tour of the different restaurants we explored along with the types of foods. He even went above and beyond and sent us recommendations to various bars, bakeries and restaurants we might want to try during our stay in Krakow based upon our conversations during the tour.

Thank you very much Tomasz for one of the most amazing tours ever! We did tour food in Krakow and We were delighted.
We have been to many countries and many different tours but Tomasz passion about Polish cuisine and culture makes all the difference and makes this tour amazing. Also his friendly laid back approach to guiding this tour was awesome!
We would recommend this tour to everyone that is a food lover and wants to try everything best that Polish cuisine has to offer.

I’m a firm believer that to truly experience a new place starting with a food tour is the way to go. Food is not just regional but it is steeped with tradition, culture and passion.
I have been on several walking food tours, if a city offers them I usually book them. So I have experienced quite a vast array of techniques and experiences. Although most are always wonderful it’s not hard for me to claim this is one of the best Food Tours I’ve experienced. We had the pleasure of Tomek’s company and he was exceptional. The food stops were varied and filling but what made this tour top notch was our guide. His passion and excitement mixed with knowledge about the food and his countries history led us on a wonderful journey. His guidance did not stop after the tour ended ... he continued to send us links with information on various areas to explore within Kraków and along the rest of our road trip. Will definitely be a memory and highlight for us!
If you can ask for a guide request Tomek!

This was the best thing we did while in Poland. I originally thought 4 hours would be too long, but wow! This tour was worth the time and money. Tomek was a great tour guide, he has a vast knowledge about Polish food and the history. We learned so much from him! And all of the food was outstanding. Don't miss this tour!

We had a "private" tour with Lukasz as we were the first ones to make the tour after covid. The guide was very friendly and he has good general knowledge plus the required specific knowledge necessary for the tour. I would highly recommend the tour. We had a great time with a very friendly guide and good food.

I visited Krakow at the beginning of January and this vodka tour was one of the first things I did there.
My guide Tomek was very prepared and generally great company. He is passionate about his job and thanks to him I discovered lots of interesting facts about Polish culture. I have to thank him also for his precious suggestions on where to eat and drink in the city.
The whole experience was very enjoyable and time flew by as if I was having drinks with a friend. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic walking tour of Polish food in Krakow. Our guide, Tomasz Syguła, was very knowledgeable and entertaining and made the tour fun. We sampled street food (zapiekanka-a baguette pizza), 2 soups (beet borscht and mushroom), several types of pierogis (savory and sweet), dumplings, cheese, salads, compote, and cream cake The tour was very casual and weather was warm so we could eat outside. Highly recommend their tour!

I really recommend this tour if you're interested in food and experiencing and learning about the food side of polish culture - We decided to do a food tour to experience the non tourist element of polish food.
We met our guide and chatted while we walked - she had an enormous amount of knowledge on what we were eating and the history of foods.
We ate a variety of foods. The majority of the foods neither of us had eaten before.
We started with a pizza like started - traditional and tasty from the 'cult' area. We had 2 varieties of soups in a small restaurant - both made the traditional way (which we weren't aware of before)
We walked through a locals market - a total difference from the tourist markets!
We had a variety of mains in EdRed (we ate here for lunch and dinner in the remaining days of out hols).
We then had a cheese, veg and meat spread accompanied by breads in a typical traditional polish restaurant.
And finally we finished up in a bakery eating their cream cake made famous by the pope!
And if that sounds like a lot of food it was!!! We were stuffed!!!!
We were then given follow up gifts of polish chocolate and postcard and magnet!
Our guide also followed up with us on a list of suggested places to eat around the city broken out by meal type and it was much appreciated!
Great tour!!!! A great alternative in krakow!

We are trying to access the Eat Polska website. However, with both Chrome and Safari browsers, we receive an error message indicating the site's security has been compromised and its certificate is invalid. When will this problem be corrected so that we can book our food tour?
Written June 14, 2018
Hello Neal, we've had a temporary problem with the SSL certificate but everything is back to normal now and the website is live, safe and ready for your visit:) We're sorry for any inconvenience and we're looking forward to meeting you on our tours!

Dear Rudi,
you can find all the information you need, including pricing and availability calendar on our website. Look for a link under the map on our TripAdvisor page, or just look for Eat Polska food tour in any search engine (unfortunately we can't post a direct link here).
I hope that works.
Best regards,
Michał / Eat Polska Team

Dear Vanessa,
thanks for your question! We do provide a vegetarian version of the Food Tour but please note that Polish cuisine is based on meat so the replacements will not always be 100% Polish. Also, the stories you will hear will often revolve around meat.
You can also read in some of the reviews that people who booked for the vegetarian version were satisfied with our meatless choices:)
If that is ok, feel free to make a booking and we're looking forward to having you on our tour!
Best,
Michał / Eat Polska

Ska man välja mellan mat & vodka runda? Ser ut så på hemsidan! Trodde det var ihop? Tacksam för svar!
Written August 31, 2016
Hello,
You are correct. We offer 2 tours: Vodka Tour or Food Tour. Both tours include food tastings of course as Poles always eat when they drink :). But the story focuses more on vodka during the Vodka tour and more on food on the Food Tour. So, it will be up to you what interests you more. Food or vodka? You can always take both tours :)
I hope this is helpful.
Regards,
Martyna
