About
The food tour gives you an opportunity to taste fantastic Polish dishes and hear the stories behind them. You will learn why Poles ferment everything, why they somethimes long for food produced in the 70’s, why you can’t trust the invitation „for a cup of coffee.” You will visit 4-5 establishments, so be prepared for a full meal (and a dessert, of course). The tour is daily!

I’m a firm believer that to truly experience a new place starting with a food tour is the way to go. Food is not just regional but it is steeped with tradition, culture and passion.
I have been on several walking food tours, if a city offers them I usually book them. So I have experienced quite a vast array of techniques and experiences. Although most are always wonderful it’s not hard for me to claim this is one of the best Food Tours I’ve experienced. We had the pleasure of Tomek’s company and he was exceptional. The food stops were varied and filling but what made this tour top notch was our guide. His passion and excitement mixed with knowledge about the food and his countries history led us on a wonderful journey. His guidance did not stop after the tour ended ... he continued to send us links with information on various areas to explore within Kraków and along the rest of our road trip. Will definitely be a memory and highlight for us!

If you can ask for a guide request Tomek!

We did the food tour in Krakow and can really recommend the experience. You definately get to try a LOT of traditional food along with insights on the polish food culture. Tomek, our guide, was really knowledgeable and gave us also some great further recommendations tailored to our interests. Thank you!!!

We had a "private" tour with Lukasz as we were the first ones to make the tour after covid. The guide was very friendly and he has good general knowledge plus the required specific knowledge necessary for the tour. I would highly recommend the tour. We had a great time with a very friendly guide and good food.

This was the best thing we did while in Poland. I originally thought 4 hours would be too long, but wow! This tour was worth the time and money. Tomek was a great tour guide, he has a vast knowledge about Polish food and the history. We learned so much from him! And all of the food was outstanding. Don't miss this tour!

I visited Krakow at the beginning of January and this vodka tour was one of the first things I did there.
My guide Tomek was very prepared and generally great company. He is passionate about his job and thanks to him I discovered lots of interesting facts about Polish culture. I have to thank him also for his precious suggestions on where to eat and drink in the city.
The whole experience was very enjoyable and time flew by as if I was having drinks with a friend. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic walking tour of Polish food in Krakow. Our guide, Tomasz Syguła, was very knowledgeable and entertaining and made the tour fun. We sampled street food (zapiekanka-a baguette pizza), 2 soups (beet borscht and mushroom), several types of pierogis (savory and sweet), dumplings, cheese, salads, compote, and cream cake The tour was very casual and weather was warm so we could eat outside. Highly recommend their tour!

I really recommend this tour if you're interested in food and experiencing and learning about the food side of polish culture - We decided to do a food tour to experience the non tourist element of polish food.

We met our guide and chatted while we walked - she had an enormous amount of knowledge on what we were eating and the history of foods.

We ate a variety of foods. The majority of the foods neither of us had eaten before.

We started with a pizza like started - traditional and tasty from the 'cult' area. We had 2 varieties of soups in a small restaurant - both made the traditional way (which we weren't aware of before)

We walked through a locals market - a total difference from the tourist markets!

We had a variety of mains in EdRed (we ate here for lunch and dinner in the remaining days of out hols).

We then had a cheese, veg and meat spread accompanied by breads in a typical traditional polish restaurant.

And finally we finished up in a bakery eating their cream cake made famous by the pope!

And if that sounds like a lot of food it was!!! We were stuffed!!!!

We were then given follow up gifts of polish chocolate and postcard and magnet!

Our guide also followed up with us on a list of suggested places to eat around the city broken out by meal type and it was much appreciated!

Great tour!!!! A great alternative in krakow!

My Wife and I met Halina at arranged place in Kazimierz( Jewish Quarter) at 1 p.m. , she arrived spot on time , we were the only two on her tour and we set off and in a few minutes eating our first snack Zapiekanka from a street food seller, then on to several restaurants , the food keeps on coming and delicious it is too, a stroll through a Farmers market where Halina bought us a punnet of fresh raspberries , the trip is about 4 hours but as it is at strolling pace with frequent food stops it is very enjoyable with Halina telling us historical facts and stories with picture aids from her laptop , the food is a mixture of street food to fine dining , snacks-soups-fish-meats-pates-cheeses etc ending up with a cream cake at last stop, and a bar of local Wawel Chocolate each ,arriving near the main square in Krakow, we tried to pace ourselves with the food intake at each venue but there is lotttttts of food .Halina was a super guide , friendly, informative and very personable , we thoroughly enjoyed her company as well as the food. After tour we received an e-mail listing all venues we had visited and all foods we had eaten .Thanks Halina .

This food tour is a really great way to see local restaurants. I especially enjoyed it because it was like a 4 hour long 5 course meal with strolls of the city and good conversation. Most food tours that I’ve been on have only given you samples of their foods but with this one, you’re literally getting a full blown 5 course meal. Anna was a really great guide and I would 100% recommend this food tour! (I mean, just LOOK at this food!)

We are four foodlovers eager to try new dishes, so this was a great option for us.
The booking was effective and serviceminded, and the guide was great. A lot of info and knowledge about the food, but also about the city and general history.
She was friendly and helpful in a smooth way, not annoying like many privateguides pretend to be to make the customers happy.

Ps.
Dont eat much before you go, preferably nothing; you will be full!
If you are a small eater, dont eat all of it at every stop. Believe me, you wont go hungry back to the hotel anyways.

Book this trip before you go to Krakow and do this at the first day here. You will get insideinformation about the best restaurants, dishes and places to go. At the same time get to know the city center in an easy and convinient way. Trust me; you remember a lot more when you walk around yourself.
The rest of your stay in Krakow will be a lot more easier to manage with this trip as a beginning.
