Visited whilst passing on a cycling trip. As far as zoos go this is an ok one. Most of the animals have decently sizes enclosures. I liked the giraffes and otters best - they all seemed pretty happy with themselves. The otters were very playful and were tumbling round their enclosure.

That was a very challenging trip - a bus full of parents with baby trolleys (both up and down the hill). Zoo is rather far from the city, on a hill, in the middle of nowhere. It's a very nice, green and pleasant place to be. It's arranged well, and it takes about 2hrs to see everything (for an adult,... More

Went here today for my birthday and we weren't disappointed! After seeing reviews of the huge hill you had to walk up I was dreading it, however we got a taxi and it took it right outside the entrance (also there is quite a lot of parking up near the entrance) We paid 18 zloty each with is around £4!... In comparison with another zoo in Silesia, zoo in Cracow seems to be small. But thanks to that you don't have to walk miles from one enclosure to another.

Zoological Garden is located outside the city center. Its not big and located in forest. Parking space is located about 1 kilometer from entrance and You have to pay 15 zł. If You use stroller You have to have some power because to reach entrance You have to go up. There are some popular animals and some rare too. For... More

We visited Krakow zoo and was first shocked by its location. The zoo is nowhere the city center of the city and i think it is a bit of a stretch to call it Krakow zoo full stop. When we visited there was a lot of restoration/improvement works going on. It is clear this zoo is run down as many... More

Parking is located 1km away from entrance to the Zoo. Cost for parking (no asphalt surface) is 15PLN (=4 EUR) for entrance. There is no dedicated bus going to Zoo, but city owned only. That one came overloaded, so we had to climb up steep hill for about 15-20 minutes, on rocky path through forest. Inside of the Zoo there... More

This place exceeded our expectations. There is a parking space close to entrance which costs 15zl per hour. This place is definitely worth visiting.

When I finally got to the zoo, which is miles away from any existence, I saw what simply looked like a building site. Unfortunately it seemed to all be under construction which I suppose is good for the future as it desperately needs renovation. There was probably 10 members of the public walking around and a lack of animals to... More
