Firstly, it was well cheap to get in. Like, £2 for a kid and less than £4 for an adult! Absolute bargain. Secondly, the zoo was alright. Plenty of animals, including lions and... read more

Went on Monday, was free to enter no idea why, the website boast of having huge variety of species but am sure the majority are fishes and birds. Saw 2 chimps in tiny cages barely any room to properly exercise, elephants and tigers had barely any water in their enclosure, the otter had hardly any water to swim in plain... More

Firstly, it was well cheap to get in. Like, £2 for a kid and less than £4 for an adult! Absolute bargain. Secondly, the zoo was alright. Plenty of animals, including lions and tigers and red pandas and that. Penguins, elephants, you know, animals that zoos have. Downsides were the cages were quite small for some of the animals and... The tickets were quite cheap, which was a good start. Then we entered the massive zoo which definitely left an impression on us. It was honestly great, the only thing I would advise is to add paper maps at the entrance because it's easy to miss certain areas.

There are pluses and minuses to this Zoo. On the bad side: some of cages are really small for such wild animals [puma, lion, etc.] On the good side: OMG, the park is sooooo cute! Very beautiful, very neat, flowers everywhere, even small sculptures. And all animals look healthy and happy enough, except maybe for the wild cats. I would... More

We took our 1 and 3 year old for the day. We all had a great time. Zoo is lovely, animals all look happy. Only 18zl for an adult ticket. Bus 134 goes straight there. Food isn't great, but isn't expensive either so it's enough to keep you going until dinner time. Kids will have a great time. Well worth... More

Take the 134 bus, costs about 5.80Zl return, and takes 20 minutes to get there. It costs 18Zl per person to enter. If you go early in the morning there are no queues. Some of the cages are small but there are new enclosures for the giraffes and penguins. An excellent way to spend a few hours. There is a... More

I went there on Sunday, spend 2 hours in total in queueing, 1 Hour in the car-not being informed at all what is happening by the security guy who was stoping everybody and seemed to be a little bit disorganised , and 1 hour in the till queue

This is definitely worth a visit if you're in Krakow. Many reviewers mention that it's quite far out of Krakow (it's not, just a short bus ride) and that some of the enclosures are too small (yes, some are on the small side). However, we had a really enjoyable day. The animals seem well looked after and the owners have... More

Revisited this zoo, this time on a summer weekend. Not ideal as most of Krakow seemed to want to be there or in the surrounding woods. Took a while to get there and get in. The surroundings are pleasant, lots of trees and greenery. The zoo has a very interesting and varied collection of animals, including some rare snow leopards.... More

This zoo is somewhat smaller than I expected, but it was very nice. The place was clean and I saw that the animals were well looked after. Only I found that some of the cages of the large cats were a bit small, but heard there were plans to improve theses. I really like the picnic area that was outside... More
