Beautiful view

Once you get to the top there is a wonderful view of both Krakow and the surrounding areas. Small museum which is included in the ticket price, but worth it for the views.

This place should be ranked way higher then this. The views of the city from up there are spectacular and it only takes 5 minutes to walk up there. There's a minimal $3 charge to enter but it is totally worth it. It is do peaceful once you reach the top and I very much enjoyed my relaxing time up... More

This looked like a gentle stroll round a grassy mound but it's a fairly steep climb on a cobbled path about a meter wide. It gives stunning views over Krakow but I'm ashamed to say l couldn't make it to the top and had to make my way back clinging to the grass. Fellow travellers were delighted however. Not for... More

It was slightly overcast today, but we decided to walk here from Old Town. It was a great walk. When we arrived at the mound, we paid to walk up. We were the only people there today so we had the place to ourselves. It was too cloudy to see very far, but we were able to get good views... More

Take a walk along the river away from the Wawel Castle heading out of town and past the Bus/Coach pick up point and head for the mound on the hill. The walk is easy going most of the way but have a couple of steep sections. It is approx 2 km away from the main square of Krakow. It can... More

The mound is set well outside the main area, but is easily accessible using the hop on hop bus service, set in beautiful wooded park land it is well worth a couple of hours of your time,

As above, awesome view on Cracow, but I guess during the real spring the landscape will be even better. It is necessary to get a long walk to get there :)

Historic mound located in a scenic park not far from the center of Krakow. You'll need to take a tram to the park, then it's a mile, mile and a half hike to the mound and the fort that surrounds it. There are a couple of restaurants a cafe and a small museum inside the fort. The views from the... More
