Our tour guide/driver was friendly, informative and spoke excellent English. We hadn’t planned on a tour on our first afternoon, but when we saw him at a traffic junction it seemed the best way to see the sights and get our bearings. He took us to several Churches, all glorious inside, which we wouldn’t have visited otherwise. He insisted on taking pictures of the two of us which is a good memory aid.

My husband and I were walking round Wawel Castle and came across Eco City Tours. A guy approached us and asked us if we wanted a tour and at first we said no but changed our mind as we thought they might show us areas we wouldn't get to see, so glad we changed our minds as we were on the trip 2 hours and thoroughly enjoyed it. The weather was hot and sunny so it kept us out of the sun for a while and rested our weary feet. If you go in a cart when it's sunny, choose one with a dark plastic roof as some of them have a clear roof and they looked like they were still getting the sun on their heads. We were taken to the Old Town, Jewish Quarter, Ghetto and Schindlers Factory (entrance not included to the factory). They play an audio tape in your language of the areas you are travelling through so you get plenty of information. We were shown lots of churches and had the chance to go in and look round. I asked the driver about a restaurant that we wanted to go to that night and if he would show us where it was in the Jewish Quarter which he very kindly did and then asked us where we wanted to be dropped off, which we thought was helpful. The trip cost us 300 PLN which was about £60 for the two of us for 2 hours. It's a great way to see the city and definitely worth it.

Golf cart tour is a great way to explore krakow. Our guides Tom & boris were excellent. Informative & friendly with good English. Felt much more personalised as could stop where & when suited. Frequent users of the more standard double decker bus tour we found this version much more fun. A definite when in krakow. Just remember to barter from first price quoted

We were unsure whether to book the golf cart tour or the big bus tour but we opted for the golf cart and were so pleased that we did so. They are able to take you to places that the big bus cannot - such as the cobbled narrow streets in the old Jewish quarters. There were only 4 of us and the guide was wonderful. He even stopped and bought us all homemade ice cream in a little corner shop. Also he bought us a small bottle of the traditional mead for us to sample. The tour lasted for just over 2 hours but we could take our time in specific places to take photos and he answered any questions we had. A good way to see the city.

We were approached in the square of an afternoon and arranged to be collected from hotel the following morning. Sure enough Jacob was waiting at our hotel as arranged. He took us to the old town and Jewish Quarter. Tour was informative and Jacob very knowledgeable. Would recommend.

Did a deal for the 6 of us and spent 1.5 hours seeing all the sights within Krakow the driver was very knowledgeable and generally a good way to see things. My only negative was sitting backwards in the back row of the buggy (someone had to) there were 6 of us and a total of 8 seats including driver, would have been better for 'me' if we had a longer buggy. Did a deal for the group, don't pay what it says on the flyer, barter and you will save money

A very unique way to see many sights in Krakow.. Depends on how much you're willing to pay, the tour extends to more places
For around 400 pln, you get the entire tour
On the tour itself, our guide, Marek was very knowledgeable, and knew English
There is even a recorded English audio tape which is very helpful
This tour gives you a quick look at the most important places in Krakow history
One drawback of this tour (and all others like this with am electric car), is that they don't stop anywhere, allowing you to explore the place. You just drive past while listening to the guide and recording

Excellent. Tour Guide spoke excellent English and made the tour funny and amusing whilst also telling all the history about the buildings and Krakow itself.

We took two separate tours on different days. One around the Old Town with Miro as a guide - he spoke great English and was very knowledgeable. The other with Gregor around the Jewish Quarter and Ghetto, although he had only been working as a guide for two weeks he knew his stuff and spoke reasonably good English. The golf buggies used are comfortable enough and you have the option of having the transparent sides up or down, blankets are provided or you can choose a heated buggy!! Although not particularly cheap these tours are well worth doing.

We were walking around Krakow when we encountered Marek. He was sitting in the drivers seat of a golf buggy. We chatted in English for a while and decided to take him up on his offer of a tour. Initially to the Jewish Quarter and Schindler's factory. Marek proved to be a mine of information both historic and architectural. His English was superb due to his many years working with British mining companies. We decided to extend the tour by adding on the old town once we realised what good value we were getting. In the end our 3 hours with Marek cost us 440 zloty (about £85) and it was money well spent. There are many of these tours available but I think we struck lucky with our charming guide.

Really interested in one of those tours on the golf cart but I'm unable to access the website link listed on this page. I'll be staying near the main market square and looking to see what tours we can do to find out more about the local history and places to be.
