This is my second time. First time there was festival and you can see lots of small stands selling local food and beer. Now still there are some of them but there are mostly local handcraft souvenirs which is nice and worth visiting.

We walked through here a few times to and from our hotel to the Main Square (Rynek Glowny) Lots of local stalls selling souvenirs etc as well as local food.
At the week-end there was a stage where local choirs could give performances.
Well worth a visit if you go through ow way to the Main Square.

This little square needs to be visited in the evening to appreciate it fully. It is crammed full of food stalls and the aromas are unbelievable. Big iron pans full of blood sausage, goulash, pork stews etc. piroggis of every filling you could ever want Mushroom and cabbage is great. Draught beer from a giant berr barrel stall. Hot mead and wines from another.

Although overshadowed by Main Market Square ( Rynek Glowny ) the Little Market Square ( Maly Rynek ) is such a beautiful square to visit .
It's only a small cobble stoned square that has a market in ,don't know if it's a daily market but it's cute and we got some nice sausage meals and beers here .
The square is flanked by some outstanding architecture and there's some great restaurants and pubs here including Bierhalle Restaurant ( great German beer hall ) and The Bull Pub ( superb English style pub and sports bar ) .
There's some interesting sites here and probably the most famous and beautiful is St Barbara's Church which looks amazing.
The Old Town location means it gets a lot of visitors,to be honest I think most who pass through this square are heading to Rynek Glowny ( Main Market Square ) without even realising they've passed through this famous and historically important little square.
A beautiful little square and well worth checking out.

Just a few steps from the Main Market Square, it is gorgeous, tranquil and provides superb vistas.

A fine feature is the brick-red apse of St Barbara's Church with a few grand windows that protrudes into the square. A grand verticality of the spires of St Mary's Basilica and St Barbara's is a wonderful scene.

Lovely facades with ornate design are to be seen all around. Some are homes for cafes and restaurants.

Just behind the main square you will find a smaller one. Surrounded by beautiful buildings, with a local color. If you are lucky you will see the little market there with a lot of street food, benches to sit, live music stage and souvenirs to shop

This square is just behind St Mary's church. There are a few restaurants and some interesting architecture. We went to the Bierhalle restaurant a couple of times for lunch. They brew their own beer somewhere else and it is very good.

These are the places that I enjoy the most in Europe. This isn't the tourist square, this is the locals square. My wife and I were just wandering around somewhat aimless when we happened upon this square. There was a live band, lots of food and a fun barrel shaped stand selling hot wine.

The buildings around the square seemed very much like restaurants on the bottom and locals apartments above.

What a neat place!

Tucked away this is a lovely small square, which while we were there had a very busy market which majored on local food and drinks. It is surrounded with colourful buildings and is a great place to sit and watch the local people in their lovely Town.

Much smaller version of its neighbor the Main Market Square. It is just around the corner from the latter on the other side of St Mary's Basilica. It is a much quieter place as there are only a few shops and cafes within its perimeter.
