It was a very remarkable experience virtually in Krakow that Christopher prepared for us recently.Despite this pandemic, we were able to visit virtually the beautiful Shrine of the Divine Mercy. A reliable and well- informed tour guide on the beautiful country of Poland is just waiting for you to explore the beautiful shrine of the Divine Mercy and the monastery where Sr. Faustina lived for 10 years before she returned to God, and much more about Poland. It was very interesting, informative and a nice way to see Poland without the tiresome trip! Thanks Christopher!

This was a customized, virtual tour of the Divine Mercy and John Paul II shrines in the Krakow suburbs. Christopher arranged it perfectly from Krakow to two separate flats in Manhattan. The Hollywood-worthy video and audio was spectacular. My friend and her husband have a special devotion to Sister Faustina and Divine Mercy. They were thrilled to see sites familiar from photographs in a live video feed. It was also very special to have Christopher prepared and available to answer their questions. For COVID-deprived travelers, the virtual tour was a blessing.

Christopher was our Kraków city walking tour guide, also airport transfers and Auschwitz and salt mine guide. During these Covid 19 times we wanted a safe trip with the same guide. Christopher is a lovely, extremely knowledgeable (historian) who guided us in his Mercedes people carrier with leather seats and extreme comfort. His information was excellent (my husband is an historian and well versed in WW2 history) so we were impressed with the knowledge Christopher has. We also had restaurants booked via him during our stay making it a smooth, relaxing and easy trip. The walking tour was 3 and half hours with a break for coffee/tea etc. Christopher made it fun and interesting. We learned so much about the beautiful city and will certainly return. Christopher arranged our private tour of Auschwitz with an excellent, knowledgeable Lady guide who has worked for over 20 years at the site and who gave us the information in a sensitive and humble way. A must on everyone’s list to understand the horrors that happened there. Then onto the salt mine which again Christopher arranged tickets for And as we were early he managed to get us on an earlier tour. After an exhausting day we appreciated the comfortable drive back to our accommodation. I highly recommend using this guide and company

Christopher was an incredible host and is full of knowledge. He offers options tailored to your trip and is very flexible. He helped myself and my husband come up with a plan to visit Auschwitz while entertaining our children as we did not want to take them inside the museum. He truly went above and beyond. He arrived on time and his vehicle was sparkling clean and comfortable. Our trip to Poland was short this time, but the next time we visit, we will absolutely contact Christopher to have him help us organize our plans and accompany us for another tour.

I have used Private Krakow Tours ten or so times over the last three years. Christopher is a first-rate guide around Krakow, its environs, and sites far beyond the Malopolska area in southern Poland. On this trip, I toured Warsaw with Christopher in a one-night stay in the capital before traveling north to the Suwalki region to visit the parents of my deceased friend. Christopher’s kind, considerate, and empathetic nature were essential in bridging the language gap between the grieving parents and me. I could tell from their faces their gratitude for Christopher’s understanding and compassion. During our time in the Suwalki region, where I have stayed thirty-plus times during my friend’s life, we visited several interesting and unusual sites. Christopher researched them before our visit to supplement what could be gleaned from the site itself. Among these were the beautiful Wigry monastery, situated on a peninsula on a collection of lakes. This site was visited by Pope John Paul II during one of his pilgrimages to his beloved homeland. Christopher also took me to the Jewish cemetery in Suwalki, desecrated by the retreating Nazis. I had promised a friend in New York to see what was left as her relatives lived in Suwalki before emigrating. We also took the opportunity to tour one of Poland’s five tripoint borders, where Poland abuts two other nations. This is a fun, unusual, and memorable thing to do, like standing astride the border of the Eastern and Western Hemispheres in Greenwich. The north of Poland is covered by impressive lakes; we visited several, including its deepest (Hancza) and its largest (Sniardwy). Before leaving the north, we enjoyed a nice afternoon in Augustow, with its impressive lake and canal. There was more to see in another one-night stay in Warsaw before returning to Krakow. We walked along the perimeter of the Jewish Ghetto, a sobering experience. I close in explaining that I planned this journey before the heightened severity of the coronavirus struck Europe. I came to Poland after a week in London. While I have had to adjust my itinerary dramatically, I am eternally grateful to Christopher for keeping me safe during this visit amidst a health crisis. The Poles are a remarkable people. All the hotels and sites we visited were vigilant in observing established medical advice to keep the risk of infection to a minimum. I am a remarkably healthy 70-year-old resident of Midtown Manhattan, who didn’t use a single sick day in his last fifteen years of employment. Thus, it’s somewhat ironic that I may be at lower risk in Poland than I would be at home in Manhattan. When the crisis is over, please consider booking with this one-of-a-kind company. Christopher will tailor your tour to your individual tastes, needs, and interests. He will be a masterful guide around the country he loves dearly. It will be a memorable trip you’ll be eager to repeat.
