A bit off the beaten path in Krakow but worth the effort, 700m east of central trainstation Glowny. Entrance fee 8 zlotys/pp (2€). The park is well kept with the exception of a portion of the park which was overgrown ( was it intentionally left overgrown ?). From outside the 2 glass greenhouses are a bit neglected but inside you’ll... More

Magnificent. Lovely . Peaceful. It was a marvelous few hours spent in a very lovely and relaxing atmosphere. A terrific change from the overload of people and artwork and historical facts that are every place you look.

The location and variety of plants are great although it feels like the gardens have seen very little change since the 80s or 90s. They could really make more effort to present the plants in their full beauty...

This was a five minute walk from our hotel, had a couple of hours to kill before we headed home so decided to go here. Glad I did. After all the hustle and bustle of the city this was a welcome break to get away from the crowds. Loads of exotic plants and trees, greenhouses, ponds and lovely walks. Cost... More

Beautiful place for a walk. So many flowers and 2 greenhouses to visit (but I wouldn't recommend getting inside in summer).

Entrance not easy to find on Kopernika St, 15 minutes from city centre, but worth the effort. It looked relatively small and initially I wasn't sure it was worth the time out of our trip for a visit. As we walked down through the Beech Woods, then found the Palmeria, and then realised how big it actually was and started... More

We visited here on a Saturday afternoon, but even so the garden was not really very busy. Admission was 8zt each which is very reasonable. There is only one entrance which is not particularly well-signposted, and when you approach it there is a sign saying you are 50m away - and then one a few metres nearer the entrance saying... More

Within 15 minutes walking distance of the main square , and only 8zlt each entry fee ! Beautiful gardens with plenty of colour despite visiting early May . The glasshouses were interesting and plenty of walks within the garden.

We always check out botanical gardens whenever we travel in Europe. Spring is a great time to see flowers. Lots of lilacs which had huge flowers. This is a nice garden but many of the beds were just being planted. The price was really cheap, $5 PLN so if you want to get away from the crowds and enjoy nature... More

This is the oldest botanical garden in Poland, founded in 1783. And, today functions not only as a place of relaxation for locals and an attraction for a few tourists, but also as a 'botany lab' for university students. It has flowering gardens, an arboretum, greenhouses - which give the term 'hothouse' a whole new meaning - and a museum.... More
