The viewing balcony is now closed to the public for “safety reasons.” Based on the signage this appears to be a permanent restriction from this point on. Not only are the views restricted to three windows, those views are partly obscured by large ugly floodlights...More

Worth having a look at this interesting building in the main market square. We didn't climb up it as it was closed but its worth going to see and take some photos as it's a picturesque part of the architecture.

This is a lovely town hall tower in the main square of the city. While the tower is somehow photogenic, don't bother with the climb up, as it's anything but impressive.

The tower itself is beautiful, in a wonderful location right in the city centre. However, there are few things I'd like to be different. the opening time is from march to october 10.30 - 18.00 (november - december 11 - 17.00). I think, in the...More

This is probably one of the most difficult towers I have climbed - the steps are steep, wide and uneven and are a no-go if you have any kind of joint problems. You can stop at a couple of points on the way up to...More

Wasn't sure what to expect as we stood outside but ventured in. 10 zloty and 110 steps was a bit of fun. Steps are uneven so hard going and only one way up and down so you need to be aware of others coming down....More

Town Hall Tower is a beautiful Gothic tower that dominates Town Hall Square. You can't miss it. It was closed.

Went at the end of feb, was closed, sign on the front of the door said that it would reopen in March. Went back a few days later (in march), staff were inside but told us that it was not open until 7th March, would...More
