An amazing cathedral inside, cathedral free but you have to pay 12 zlotys to go up tower and see royal tombs.

There is not much more to say about the area, this is in terms of architecture the most interesting part of Krakow - and really magnificent. In our experience, nearly impossible to buy a ticket and get into the castle - looooong and slooow queue....More

We walked here from the square and it was a lovely walk. The buildings are amazing and there is lots to see. You can pay to visit the inside but we just walked around the outside. Don't forget to wait to see the fire breathing...More
