We loved the market place in the middle of Krakow Old Town. There are so many fantastic, talented vendors, selling all sorts of pottery, woodwork, leather, jewellery, nik naks.. We wish that we'd come with more luggage space, but luckily managed to go home with a gorgeous painting and a few pieces of pottery. The food market is also fantastic,... More

A lovely square with lots of nice, comfortable seating to sit and leisurely sip drinks and watch people go by. Beautiful buildings and excellent friendly Polish staff in every restaurant/bar that we visited here. Cheap but not in comparison to other areas of Kraków.

Largest medieval square in Europe with a clock tower, a cathedral, the famous Cloth Hall, market stalls, live music, beautiful horse drawn carriages, statues, fountains etc and surrounded by pavement cafes. Very attractive.

A fantastic place to watch the world go by, drink , eat, be entertained and admire the immaculate horses and drawn carriages. A brilliant place , day or night. Spoilt for choice when choosing restaurants here but take time to discover some other , cheaper and more authentic Polish restaurants off one of the many side streets. You won't be... More

This is the largest main market square in Europe. It is surrounded by pretty and colourful buildings. The square also contains the cloth hall, St Mary's church, town hall tower, many restaurants and is where horse drawn carriage rides begin. Although there are plenty you would find better value restaurants just off the square as some are tourist traps.

This is definitely the heart if Krakow. There are cathedrals and a market, stands for merchandise and for food, restaurants and bars and even Segway rentals. I cannot imagine anyone visiting Krakow and not spending at least 2-3 hours here.
