It only takes you a few minutes to see but it's worth the view! You can enter and sit down in one if the benches for a couple of minutes and take your time to look at the painted ceiling because it's marvelous.

Beautiful Basilica with one tower higher than the other so that a man with a trumpet could have a 360 view if invading armies were coming. That is why at every hour there is a man playing the trumpet in 4 directions. Beautiful interior with a blue ceiling with gold stars.

It truly beautiful and very big. It is defiantly a must see. The biggest downer is that you have to pay extra if you wannbe able to take pictures.

St. Mary's is one of the most impressive gothic cathedrals that I have seen. First, the walls are just an explosion of color. I have been to many gothic cathedrals, and while the stained glass is often original and beautiful, the walls are never painted as they would have been in the 12th -15th centuries. Sometimes there are traces left, but... More

This was very different from other churches that I have seen in western parts of Europe. It was worth going in there even though I was not sure going in at the beginning. Very nice!

If you enjoy traditional European Catholic churches, this one is outstanding and conveniently located along the square. Includes numerous altars. Attracts lots of noisy tourists for masses.

This church is simply a must to visit ! Both the exteriour and the interiour offers fantastic architecture and lots of details to explore. The main altar is a story by itself, it's quite unique and you can spend a lot of time studying it.

This church is a must-see in Krakow. Be sure to take the opportunity to read up on the history of the bugler, who, since 1901 has been a member of the Fire Department. Entry to the church is of course free, and guided tours are available for a small donation. They are well worth the price, although the climb to... More
