This is a must see while in Krakow. The grounds and tours are so well done and worth the time. Never forget how these poor people were treated!!

Our tour guide (sorry we do not remember his name) was informative and spoke English very clearly. He was also able to answer any questions we had.

We had a private taxi pick us up from our hotel. Driver looked after us and gave some handy advice/ guidance. This tour is not for the squeamish though! Guide was clear and extremely knowledgeable. Some walking and stairs involved but not too strenuous.

Booked Auschwitz Tour with KrakowTrip before we went. Easy website to book through. Daniel was our driver. He turned up on time in a nice minibus, and was friendly and helpful.

I hate that this review is reviewing "an attraction. This is not an attraction. This is not a trip to the zoo or a romp in a theme park. Unfortunately some visitors doing selfies on the railway lines which brought thousands to their deaths rather...More

A must see place to visit to pay respect to all who were murdered here. Everybody takes away their own thoughts about Auschwitz and for me I still cannot comprehend the level of suffering that was inflicted upon the prisoners. To see the photos of...More

My main reason for travelling to Krakow was to visit the Auschwitz – Birkenau site. I was not disappointed but naturally it was an emotional and once in a lifetime experience. Thank goodness there is nowhere else in the world to which to compare this...More

I would always recommend the guided tours. Auschwitz is over an hour outside Krakow and the tours usually take you to Auschwitz and Berkenau which is another 20 mins further on still We did the Salt Mines on the same day and... More

You can not take a rucksack into Auschwitz but there is a locker room where it can be left. You can take it to Birkenau which is the 2nd part of the trip. If you book an tour you will do both camps.
