Clean, beautiful, well-designed, the main square of Old Town is certainly picturesque. Unfortunately, it has been too gentrified. Who goes to a historic European city center to shop at Yankee Candle or eat at Hard Rock Cafe? Wait, I know the answer to those questions....

Nice area to walk around. Beautiful buildings, plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes, bars etc. Very clean streets, very few beggars, nice ambiance.

My opinion is that this place is even better than Budapest. Stunning buildings, lovely atmosphere and less crowds (comparatively!). Can walk around for ages. Plenty of places to eat and hang out in.

Krakow old town has a lot to offer but you have to explore all the streets to make the most of your visit which means a lot of walking. There is a grass area all round the old town with shade if it gets too...More

This is a great area to go for a walk and sight see around the city. You really get the feel for the town and it is a great experience with a lot of history.

Take a stroll early in the morning - when no one is around it's almost surreal being among the old buildings. That's also a great time to take PICS of the buildings.

Hello folks. Can anyone tell me please what the weather is like in Krakow at the beginning of February. I know it will be cold, but I am hoping it will not be 3 feet of snow.
