One of the nicest places to visit in Krakow. Full of nice shops and fine restaurants. A little bit touristy but definitely worth the visit. Sidewalk entertainment is a good way to spend a little time. Also available are horse and carriage rides.

I would say the best town that I have visited so far, so much history, architecture, parks all around the city etc. The place is so clean and well maintained with easy walking and plenty of shops and markets to wander around.

Krakow and the old town is a very good place to do a romantic getaway for a weekend. Lots of stuff to do, both for fun and for historical learning. Plenty of good food and nice old buildings etc.

When you have visited the main square take time to walk the side streets too and see some of the historic buildings and courtyards. Check out the old university, collegium Maius, with its glockenspiel and revolving figures. You can have tea there in the vaulted basement. Walk the Planty and enjoy the cool greenery.

Unlike Warsaw much slower pace and a much older type of Europe. The shops and entertainment on the square were pleasant and inviting to keep you there and hold your interest. Recommend it

About 2 miles of historic district filled with old renaissance and gothic buildings. Look for walking or cart tours offered by local tour companies at the market square.

Great place for a wander, food and drinks around the main square, inner city mediaeval laid out in a grid fashion. cobbled streets but smooth enough for a walking frame. The horse drawn carriage ride around the city for about 40 minutes is worthwhile. The castle and Jewish quarter are about 1km away. The city centre is mostly free from... More

So so so crowdy at the end of summer. But worth to see it once in the life. One day was cloudy, another sunny, the sunny Old Krakow is one of the most beautiful European cities, definitely.
