We did the Zakopane and hot springs tour. Really enjoyable. It’s quite a distance out of Krakow, but we stopped half way on the way there (about an hour in) then about 45 mins later, we stopped for local cheese tasting and vodka shots.
From there was about 30 mins to Zakopane where we were given our tickets for the Vehicular railway up to the top. It was a bit cloudy but a great view.
We had 2 hours to explainer and sort out some lunch.
From there about another 30 mins to the spa for the hot springs, here we had 2.5 hours to explore the springs and relax in the water. This was lovely and it even snowed whilst we were outside.
Wasn’t that busy plenty of room.
You need to take swimming stuff and a towel, you are given wrist straps that open the lockers/ you can pay for food/drinks and settle up at the end.
Well worth a visit. Journey back to Krakow was 2 hours. But it went quickly, as the scenery is great to look at.
The tour guide was also good at explaining how everything worked, where to go and when to be back for. He also have a commentary about some
Of the places we went through.
Thoroughly recommended tour.
