We booked 2 day tours with this company and were very happy we did so! Our drivers Patrik and Kuba were both great and made the day trips even more rewarding.
I would highly recommend both day trips as Zakopane is a little gem in the mountains with incredibly scenery on the drive there and some really authentic experiences on the way there and in the town itself. The salt mines definitely require a tiny bit of fitness and no bad knees as lots of stairs to climb down but are very interesting and unique so worth seeing. Thank you for great service from us all!

I went with my girlfriend in Krakow for holidays. We booked with Welcome in Cracow for transportation to Auschwitz and Salt Mine. Our driver Bartlomiej Lesniak was very friendly and helpful ! He explained the history of Auschwitz and Salt mine during our drive and helped us with everything we wanted! Also excellent driver ! He also stopped 3 times on the side of the road because I was a bit dizzy from the road trip and helped to to feel better ! Overall experience was excellent ! I would recommend 100%

Thank you Bartlomiej , my Polish friend 🇵🇱

Hope to see you again and your are welcome in Cyprus 🇨🇾 !

This was one of the most incredibly moving but sad and heart-breaking experiences of my life and I am so glad that I made the trip. The tour guide was wonderful - so respectful to those who died there and the horrors that they endured. The gravity of what took place stuns one into silence and my friends and I needed time afterwards to recover. However, as the guide said over the top of one of the doors is a message saying 'those who forget history are condemned to repeat it'. This trip is something that everyone should do.

I’ve visited Auschwitz- Birkenau before but wanted to go again with us being back in Kraków.
We were picked up from directly outside of our apartment by a very sweet American/polish gentleman. We were in a can of only 7 of us so it was a comfortable journey of around 90 minutes.
We went on 28 January, one day after the 75th anniversary of the liberation, although we didn’t know this prior to coming. There were very large crowds when we arrived and we set off on our tour with around 20 other English speaking visitors.
Our female tour guide was very knowledgeable, however I did feel that the group was too large to be able to get the full experience. It felt like a lot of information was missed and certain parts such as the gates of death and the bathhouse were missed out.
Auschwitz is a must visit for everyone as it serves as a stark reminder of the evil that occurred all them years ago. It was just a shame that on this occasion there was a lot closed off to the public.

Thank you for your opinion. Your words are very important to us. While we would like to inform you that we have no influence on what is happening in the museum. For the future, we advise you to avoid days when there are anniversaries and before festivals.

What a weirdly fascinating experience. So sad to actually witness what these poor people must have endured. The trip and tour operator was absolutely fantastic

Yes, definitely. My friend and I booked this trip less than 24 hours in advance! Our driver, Viktor was at our accommodation before 9AM ready to collect us! We were running a little bit behind in the morning but Viktor had absolutely no problem waiting for us! He also kindly stopped off so we could get coffee for the journey!
He was very polite and talkative, informing us of many historic things as well as places to visit and things to do in krakow. He even stopped for us on the way back so we could get a picture of the stunning sunset!
We travelled to Zakopane which was absolutely beautiful. It’s around 2 hours from krakow but worth the journey for the stunning views.
Thank you for an amazing day Viktor.

Yesterday we attended the Wieliczka salt mine tour booked with Welcome in Cracow.
When we joined the 10am English tour we were given a headset and receiver and put in a group of 40 people.
During the tour we found that unless we were stood within 2 meters of the guide then the light on the receiver was red and not green meaning we could not hear the guide.
As we were the last 2 people allocated to the group we were always at the back and missed nearly the whole 2 hours commentary.
When we complained to the guides they said that this problem was reported every day , but their managers do nothing about it.
We have raised the issue with Welcome in Cracow and they were unhelpful.

Dear Trevor, We have completed 100% of the trip assumptions: pick up from your hotel, transport, entrance ticket, english guide and drop off to your hotel. A group of 40 people in the museum is not a disadvantage. This is a normal group size, which can be read in the museum regulations. The allegedly inoperative headset had to be reported immediately to the museum guide. The guides always have spare 2 headsets with them. If you report a problem to staff they also always exchange it. Very positive opinions of the company testify to our professionalism. We think the opinion is unfounded. It was issued after attempting to force a refund on us. We suggest you buy trips for which you have money. Greetings and have a nice day!

Booked a self-guided tour to Auschwitz. Felt like a transport service more than exactly a tour because our driver didn't say a word on our way there. A short introduction would have been nice.

The only complaint I have is regarding the time of booking. I specifically asked the lady if we had to queue at the museum to get a ticket and she said no because our tickets had been booked in advance; they would now assign our name to them.

When we got to Auschwitz we had to wait for an hour to get our tickets which were not reserved in any way. We visited Birkenau first and then got back to Auschwitz to enter the museum at 5pm and had to queue again. Just wished we were informed of this beforehand.

Our family spent several days in Krakow in the safe and very friendly hands of our most knowledgable and highly skilled driver Alek. He was prompt collecting us from the apartment, and he had a unique knowledge of his city and homeland. Alek added considerable value to the trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau, and was very patient with our granddaughter. On the following day he drove us to the Salt Mines in very difficult weather conditions . On the last day he took me to the shooting range, and afterwards showed me the picturesque lake and facilities of Krakow Bagry. Both his reliability and dependability ensured that our trip to Krakow was a complete success. We would highly recommend the company he works for namely 'Welcome in Krakow'. We hope to return to the city and avail ourselves again of the company's and Alek's expertise. Brilliant!

Very knowledgeable tour guide but we felt rushed. Would have liked more time to look and take pictures instead of being hurried along. Wasn't even given the opportunity to see birkenau memorial and plaques, just told they were there. I appreciate a lot of people are going through but give people time to take in the experience.
